As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

OMG, I don’t believe poor ratings, too many people loved that show and were just waiting for season two. Total BS WOW!
Bring it back, it was aired during the summer when folks are on vacation and being a loyal consistent audience is difficult.

I do not typically use FOX because they lock out those of us who cannot afford a network provider.
I was particularly captivated with the story line and superb acting and cast of Gang Related

Are you kidding me????? This was one of the best series I’ve ever seen. Bring it back, and you wouldnt regret it! Some shows need time for publicity!!!! It’s great, give it a chance!

Gang Related was the Best!! the most realistic cop show around!! I am so bummed they cancelled it. They didn’t know what they had. I hope and pray some other network picks that up. There were a lot of good actors & actress in that show. Please Please someone pick it up. The fans want that. I want to know what i can do as well. Awww until we meet again LOL

This was a great show! Bring it back! Wow! This show was not ruled out properly. This project needs to be shopped around to other networks, even premium cable networks. The writing was good, the acting was great. What can I do to assist with reviving this great show?
