As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I loved that show! Why do networks keep the STUPID shows on for years but cancel the good ones?! I will never understand

I am so disappointed that gang related is cancelled. I absolutely loved this show. I tuned in every week to watch it and I have been waiting for the second season patiently for months. When I noticed that there weren’t any previews for a second season, that’s when I decided to google it. I really wish that you would reconsider. I don’t understand; not just this station, but many other stations as well; that have a show on for barely even two months and then call it a season. Networks don’t give it a chance. I am so upset. This was a great show. You canceled it and left us hanging. Please bring gang related back. A fantastic cast with great chemistry. Cliff Curtis is awesome. Such range in the characters he plays, the whole cast was fantastic. Please rethink this decision, please.

Seriously this show was awesome! I’m so sick of watching new shows that are actually GOOD and they get cancelled after one season! What is wrong with these networks! I would watch this show on any channel that would air a second season.

Unbelievable!! This show was like watching a movie.. A lot of action and suspense in this show, I’m pissed they canceled it!

I watched this show faithfully!!! who said it had bad ratings?? I know so many people that watched and like the show. I think this really sucks that we have some of the stupiest shows on T.V. right now and this was a great show and it was canceled!! Wow, I think I actually hate FOX for this one.
