As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

My husband & I really got hooked on this show!! Like some others, we were hesitant about it at first, but we liked the cast so we stuck with it. We’ve been waiting impatiently for it’s return, & would watch it on any channel! Those who didn’t go for it initially should rent the 1st season – or, at least watch the 1st few episodes, & see if it doesn’t grab you!!

Please bring back Gang Related soon. It was an excellent program and very different. So I hope I’ll see it soon. I really enjoyed it.

Ridiculous! This show was awesome. Great storyline and good acting. I agree with the others to move it to FX or sell the rights. It amazes me how a good, realistic show like Gang Related gets cancelled and “reality” shows get renewed. Save this show!!!
This show was awesome! Great cast, storyline was great. Screw fox. Why don’t they sell it and have another network pick it up. Screw prime time. Move it to cable. AMC would murder that show!
Come on AMC, pick up this show for season 2 and almost sure you wont disappoint. Make it darker. Borderline breaking bad/walking dead…

Move it to FXX then. Great show, and I’m surprised it didn’t do that well. It was an interesting storyline that was very different. We dvr’ed the show but ciildnt wait tot watch it when we had the time. Huge let down this got cancelled

Please bring this show back. If you have to move it to another channel so be it. My family and I watched this show and got others to watch it as well.
