As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

This was one of the best shows on Fox and you’re gonna cancel it? What’s wrong with you people?! Who is the idiot who made that decision? You’re losing loyal viewers over stupid ratings that come and go like the wind. Feed your loyal viewers with something worth watching.

Yes I would have watched a second season!!!!! Ugh I can not believe they canceled it! Me and my boyfriend have been waiting to hear when the second season was going to start! That sucks it’s not going to be one! Hopefully they change there mind..
Damn I’m like feeling some type away because Fox29 has canceled one of my favorite shows Gang Related an left us hanging ,man I was looking forward to the second season. Totally frustrated.
Yes I would have watched the second season! I absolutely loved this show I didn’t watch anything other that this on the fox network, I am highly disappointed that they did not decide to air a second season.

Have you guys ever thought about switching the Season, put it on during the fall, This was the only show I watched during the summer because I was outside all the time. This had Great Acting, Great Story Line and is different then the rest of the crap on TV these days. Even if you did a Hulu or Amazon or Playstation and I would join. Gang Related was one of the shows that had best plots in near past. It had so much windows that the story could have been taken forward. I was and am still looking forward to season 2 and much more. I didn’t happen to know it was having poor rating inspite of the classic gang related stuff. This was not one of those shows that could be killed… So Bring it Back!
Bring it back there is not crap on fox right would have been a good time to air. That was a good show.
Its the best program I have ever seen. This show is 10 times better than any other shows. Other programs are all similar. Please bring it back
What? no season 2, not even a trial at a different time slot? too many other shows at that time with loyal followers I guess…bring it back…better than all the NCIS shows together, we need something better than NCIS…to predicable, I loved the twist on this show.
We would definitely watch a season 2 if there was one.
