As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

Shows like that always become big hits!! e.g. Sons of Anarchy!! I never even new that show existed until after the first two seasons had aired. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!

PLEASE Bring back gang related. …………..Miami love the show I bet that most us were looking forward for seasons 2 ……. Bring the show back….. Fox will lose viewers for this channel.

The problem is (and I’m guilty for this), is that people watch these amazing shows, like Gang Related, on Hulu, where the TV ratings don’t weigh in at all. If everyone watched the premiere episode, or DVR’d it, it might still be on life support. Will be missing this show SO MUCH!!… Well, back to Chicago PD lol

Seriously??? Cancelled??? why???? We all are so pissed and dejected!! How could fox cancel such an action packed series with a captivating plot??? Why the hell does fox always do this?? You introduce a nice series then cancel it after the first season! No wonder people worldwide will never take you seriously nkt!! That’s why I no longer watch Fox T.v

this was really a captivating show, have been eargerly awaiting the second season and am completely devastated that it just ended like that. would have loved to see how season 2 unfolded, with all the drama that was taking place. to Chris Morgan, you deserve a bells!!! great job!!!
im pissssssssed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all my coworkers are not happy- that was a great summer series. It was a lot better than a lot of other shows. Even my fiancé and his friends watched it. Not many shows that me and my fiancé can watch together, but that was one of them. Not happy that there wont be a second season :(((. fox is missing out. You didn’t even give it a chance . If it was on in the winter I bet more people would have watched bc they aren’t down the shore or on vacation.

I came here to see when it would be coming back on … DEVASTATED.. was such a good show !! Every episode was gripping and left me at the edge of my seat !!!!
