Get ready for more ghosts. Destination America has announced that its new ghost-hunting series, Ghost Brothers, will premiere on April 15th.
The series is the first to feature an all-African American ghost hunting team.
Ghost Brothers follows three real-life friends, Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey, as they explore the haunted house and regions of the Southeast. The team began investigating hotels, cemeteries, and other spooky areas in 2011.
From Dalen Spratt, in a press statement:
We’re excited to join the Destination America family and prove that there can be a little humor in the unknown. But the best part about GHOST BROTHERS is that THIS time, the black guys make it out of the haunted house alive!”
Ghost Brothers premieres on Destination America on April 15th, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

(Silver Spring, Md.) – What you see is what you get with Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey, the Southeast’s newest and most dynamic paranormal investigation team. These three best friends lead Destination America’s new series GHOST BROTHERS, on a mission to uncover whether some unique, legendary “haunted” houses are the real deal. Raised in religious households, Dalen, Juwan and Marcus were taught that “messing” with the dead is dangerous business, but some unexplained experiences of their own piqued their intense fascination, ultimately driving them to find out firsthand just how spooky the supernatural can be. Blending natural curiosity with comedic flair, these charismatic characters offer a fresh, funny and unique take on the spirit world. From Pilgrim Media Group, producers of the long-running mega-hit “Ghost Hunters,” the six-part series GHOST BROTHERS is set to premiere on Friday, April 15 at 10/9c, only on Destination America.
“Destination America is the leader in paranormal programming, and we are excited to bring diversity to this space with the very first African American ghost hunting team on television,” said Jane Latman, general manager of Destination America. “Dalen, Juwan and Marcus’ personalities shine through in GHOST BROTHERS, wearing their emotions on their sleeves in an incredibly relatable way during all of the fear, thrills and chills of investigating things that go bump in the night.”
“We’re excited to join the Destination America family and prove that there can be a little humor in the unknown,” said Dalen Spratt. “But the best part about GHOST BROTHERS is that THIS time, the black guys make it out of the haunted house alive!”
As budding enthusiasts of paranormal investigation, the GHOST BROTHERS take a passionate hobby to the next level in some of the country’s most haunted locations. By day, Dalen and Juwan are fashion designers with their own label called Loren Spratt, though, in their off time, they have been investigating haunted houses, hotels and cemeteries together since 2011. Marcus, a comedian and “Barber to the Stars,” met Dalen in 2009 and now, as an “experienced” ghost hunter, he considers himself the Peter Venkman of the trio.
Haunted hot spots explored in GHOST BROTHERS include the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas; Prospect Place in Trinway, Ohio; Allen House in Monticello, Ark.; Magnolia Plantation in Derry, La.; Delta Queen Steamboat in Houma, La.; and the Fitzpatrick Hotel in Washington, Ga..
GHOST BROTHERS is produced for Destination America by Pilgrim Media Group in association with Crybaby Media. Craig Piligian and Mike Nichols are executive producers for Pilgrim, with Danny Passman as executive producer for Crybaby. For Destination America, Fay Yu is executive producer, Jane Latman is general manager, and Henry Schleiff is Group President of Investigation Discovery, Destination America, and American Heroes Channel.”
What do you think? Do you watch a lot of ghost hunting shows? Will you watch Ghost Brothers?
I love Ghost Brothers! Best ghost hunting show! So much fun to watch – the guys are so entertaining! Never miss a show. Hope it’s on for years to come.
I’m so disappointed that Ghost Brothers is no longer on TLC. I don’t get Destination America. I did get to see the show on TLC in February, And I loved it. Poor me.
It’s a very entertaining program. I watch all the ghost programs and this is one of the best. I enjoy the paranormal and this show adds humor to it. Keep it and lets keep it going for many years to come.
HOW DOES ONE GET THEM TO INVESTIGATE A PLACE?? I LOVE THIS SHOW..BUT THEY HAVE GOT TO COME TO A CERTAIN RESTAURANT IN JERICHO NY!!…AND I WANT TO BE THERE..
I love love this show when are the new ones starting. This is how I feel about ghosts
I absolutely LOVE this show! It’s refreshing and soooo funny!!! I love their comments and responses to the situations they are in:) I’m honestly shocked to read some of these comments, how can you be offended or think this show is unprofessional? Lighten up people! It’s fun:) Great to see a lighter side to the paranormal, and they have a great and hilarious vibe going with each other:) I was getting kind of burnt out on the paranormal shows but this one sucked me right back in:) Can’t wait for the second season!!:)
All fake and scripted like Ghost Hunters! Ghost Brothers is the stupidest and most unprofessional series I have ever seen! I hope Ghost Brothers has canceled. Please bury it already!
No one is making you watch it. Many of us enjoy the show. You are free to watch something else!!
No one is forcing you to watch. Your not liking it shouldn’t mean it should be cancelled……….you are free to turn it off!!

I enjoy this show because of the stars. They make it interesting and so very funny. Hope they are returning for a second season.
Like the program. Have not seen them lately. they were convincing and funny all at the same time. Enjoyed watching them, bring them back Please.
My guilty pleasure is watching Paranormal Shows. All of ’em! …until this one aired. Really? DestAm? Really? I was so offended by the white vs black comment, and the other one, in the preview, where they alluded to getting the show based on their race…just floored me. How is it ok to talk that way, no matter your race? Since it was the ONLY thing airing on the best Paranormal Network, I tried to watch, I did. I made it under ten minutes. Not funny, not interesting, –silly, juvenile, offensive, and the plain lack of experience, and/ or equipment, all… Read more »
This show was awesome! I never really watched too many ghost hunting shows before. I heard of these guys when they did an interview on The Karen Hunter Show. My 8 year old son loves it too! I even changed my TV programming just so we could watch. Great show-keep it up! Can’t wait until the new season.
Bring them back for second new show of the season.
When does the new season start? I enjoy the fact that they are not being disrespectful of those whom have passed like other ghost shows do. I love this show. I like the curiosity about what may or may not be haunting places, but I can watch shows where the people are over active in nasty provocations. This show is in stark contrast to other shows and is tastfully curious without being disrespectful to the dead. Please renew. I don’t like the other ghost shows.
Dumbest show ever. Just crap. Destination America just lost a viewer here.
The ONLY REASON this show is on is because they ARE BLACK.
Talk about playing the race card.
Pretty pathetic.
