Grimm has returned with its fifth season to NBC, and season five is a complete reboot of the series. The cast is the same, but the series is heading into fresh territory this season.
With Juliette and Nick’s mother dead, Nick, who is played David Giuntoli, will change drastically. Giuntoli is ready for the change though, and he is ready to continue playing Nick for season six and beyond – if NBC keeps the series on the air.
Giuntoli spoke about the series with Zap2it. He said:
“I’ll take as many seasons as I can handle. This show has been my thirties. I was 29 when I booked this show, and I’ve learned so much.”
Fans should be prepared for another big change this season. Another major character will die this season, and Giuntoli teased that no one is safe. He said the series is ready to start “shaking things up” this season. The series has already started to do that with Juliette’s death. Nick is now selling his house, and Adalind has moved in with him to raise their baby.
Are you a fan of Grimm? Do you want many more seasons of Nick chasing Wesen in Portland? Tell us what you think.
I absolutely LOVE Grimm. This is my favorite show on television. I love the writing and the acting. I love how things are changing, and moving into a differnet direction. I gotta say I do NOT miss Juliette. The show seems so refreshing without her, to me that is. It ‘s really interesting to see Nick and Adalind come together and raise this baby. I think it’s most awkward and unexpected situation, which keeps me tuned in along with
the other storylines.

Best Show ever!, Keep it up
Grimm is a great show for those that like scary fantasy. I’ve watched from the beginning and it still feels like a new show. I’m glad the producers are being bold and are not afraid to explore something different. Killing off Juliette was a surprise but not a bad move. I was getting tired of her and her one expression face. He needs someone better. Adelind has greatly changed from season 1 and has become more likable. Since she and Nick now have a baby, maybe they will become a permanent couple. Anyway, love the show.
I enjoy ‘Grimm’ because of it’s ‘fantasy’ scenario, but, also because scary fairytales (Grimm Brothers for example) were one of my childhood pleasures. The actors all fit their roles so well, and as much as Julia was an integral part of the series, I was not unhappy to see her leave. The other actors are so great in their roles, and I sure hope Truble comes back. Very happy to hear there will be more seasons because it is a pain to get vested in a program only to find it is cancelled! Oh, and the make-up and transitioning from… Read more »
I meant to say JULIETTE didn’t I????
HUGE Fan! We will take as many seasons as we can get! I like how they keep changing it up!
I stopped being a fan in season three. But I give Grimm credit by staying edgy and changing up characters. One fault I find with many shows is the characters never change, having older characters leave and new ones arrive keeps things fresh.
Hell yes I do want more seasons of Grimm! I’m a huge fan of Grimm!!!
I’ve been a fan of Grimm from the beginning. I enjoyed the beginning of the series when Nick was discovering what being a Grimm was all about. I feel, however, this whole thing about Adalind and her baby is an example of “jumping the shark”. I miss Juliette and am sorry she is gone. Most fans forget she was actually helpful to Nick in solving some cases due to her experience as a Vet. I hated that she torched the trailer. I will continue to watch the show but I fear it’s best days are behind it.
I love the show and I can handle most changes but if they kill off Monroe I will be heartbroken! He steals the show!
I sure hope Monroe lives to be a ripe old age. After all , what other werewolf have we met that does ‘pilates’??? Love that man.
I agree with Cindy, great show. I also about NCIS ALL of them.
One of the more imaginative series around. Killing off Julliette SUCKED! BAD IDEA! First, every other show out there seems to be splitting up its lead couple; hardly original writing. Besides, Juliette was the only ‘regular’ human being there, which made her a good measure against the others — 2 Grimms, two Wesen, trained cops. On the other hand maybe Ms Tulloch got tired of being the Girl Who Gets Rescued.
It is simple, if they start killing off major characters, I stop watching. Everybody wants to follow the path set by Game of Thrones where the author delights in killing off characters but I watch shows for entertainment, if you enjoy your favorite characters killed off then so be it, I won’t be watching. I disliked Juliet from the start and his mother was not around long enough to really make an impact as a character of the show so that was no big loss but I can’t think of another of the “major” characters anyone would want to see… Read more »
Who care if you write for amazon you don’t speak for the masses as much as you believe you do.
LOL, a troll! It does require that I try to learn how to compose a sentence and use capitalization. It should be pointed out that at no point did I ever say anything about “speak for the masses” or even give that impression. Go back to your Mom’s basement and leave writing stuff to the adults. Sorry I won’t be able to carry on this conversation since feeding trolls is something you learn to avoid but usually they can actually read what was said and not some fantasy driven by your own insecurities and inadequacies.
Yes!! Keep Grimm on forever!!
I still can’t believe Juliette is dead. I was devastated. But, life goes on and I await with baited breath what comes along.
I am a HUGE fan of Grimm, and will take as many seasons as I can get, no matter what changes happen. Besides, with Grimm, I figure anything is possible, right? This is my favorite show on tv, right now, with a possible second of NCIS. There just isn’t anything else out there like Grimm, and it’s plots change on much from show to show. You don’t have time to get “comfortable” with anything because of the changes. Keeping going Grimm!
