TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

Canceling this show GRIMM is a major mistake great show great special effects no other show does this stupid who ever thought of canceling, bring this show back…..
Canceling this show is a major mistake. This is one of the best shows on TV and has a great cast. I do not understand why there are so many terrible shows on and one of the best is being canceled. My wife and I watched five seasons of Grimm during the summer and it was great.
Seems like we ALL agree .. but it’s like the presidential race … go figure
I LOVE this show – was torture waiting for it to start up again from one season to the next. It was about the only reason I ever change the channel on my TV to NBC – so it figures that the brainiacs at NBC cancelled it. I enjoyed Better Late Than Never this summer, but guess I can just block NBC from my channel list completely after the very few episodes left of the only NBC show worth watching during the regular season (i.e. GRIMM!).
We have enjoyed the Grimm series very much and watch it regularly. Please do not cancel it
How can NBC cancel Grimm, it is a great show and should be able to go on for another 6 years. Here is hoping that SciFi, or CW, TNT,TBS or some other network will pick up the production in Portland. I will really miss it.
Hey NBC are you not the guys that also cancel “Star Trek”. How did that work out. Are you canceling because theres not enough sex ir bad lang. Not everyine is into all of that. Dont cancel grimm. To many people like it.
My husband and wait every year to watch the show. Theres not that many that we like. Very sad this is the last season. We wish another station would pick it up.
They cannot cancel this show! They keep the stupid shows and get rid of the best ones. This is the only one I love. Please please please do not cancel it.
Grimm is an excellent show. I’ve watched it from the first, and I never miss it, and would continue to watch for as long as it runs (as long as the original cast remains). Why would NBC want to cancel it? It is imaginative and not predictable, which is a welcome change compared to most t.v. shows. I love it.
Will never understand why NBC is cancelling Grimm, I never missed a show. So disappointing, it’s an EXCELLENT show. Who made this decision, the same people who hired Billy Bush?
Katharine White
A show I look forward to every season and every episode. Need to save this.
Grimm has been entertaining and enjoyable. Classic good vs evil. Would continue watching. Much better than polics shows and tge so called reality shows. Need good escape shows and how about some decent comedies without all the adult language and sexual baloney. Keep Grimm and audience will watch!!!
Grimm is one of the best TV shows I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t believe they are ending the show. there are a lot of shows there isn’t even worth the 30-minute segment that they have, and they are cancelling Grimm this is unbelievable so unfair. Maybe another Network should pick it up and run with it since NBC doesn’t recognize a good thing when they have it.
Grimm is one of my favourite shows – it’s GREAT. I even look forward to watching the reruns. Would I watch a new season of Grimm? Faithfully. A poor decision by the NBC to cancel one of their best shows.
