TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

Grimm is one of the best shows!! I never have missed an episode… NBC your idiots! Keep GRIMM!!!
I LOVED Grimm!!! I am sooooo disappointed to see it go away. Bring it back please!!
I love Grimm! I don’t want it to be canceled!!!!! Please reconsider!!!!!!
Can’t believe they are doing this!!!! Why???? Good show, characters, story line. What does it take to stay on the air? Sex and nudity? Zombies can stay on the air but something with a good story line has to end. COME ON NBC!!!!
I totally agree with you .. sex and nudity .. get tired of all that and there are enough zombie shows on .. get a GOOD show on tv and they want to take it off!! What a crock!! ;0/
I am so disappointed!! This is such a good show, one of the few available. It’s original and still popular so I don’t understand the thinking, but there you have it. Must not be enough sex and nudity……..
This is our favorite show! My husband & I (we are in our 60’s) watch faithfully & then buy the videos to binge watch again & catch the little things we missed. So creative & unlike anything else on TV. What is NBC thinking??? Shame on them.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. My life is ruined!!!! What now to fill my fantasy my monster love fantasy. I guess I ned to go back to a former hobby of mine . . . . cow tipping for relaxation. Oh the tragedy of it all.
I watch this show religiously. I love how they take fairytales and spin them to be actual “real” life stories. I feel that this is one of the most creative and imaginative shows on. TV. I feel that cancelling the show is a bad idea and a disservice to your viewers. GRIIMM is honestly the only show on NBC that I watch aside from the occasional SNL show. Once GRIMM is gone I will not be watching NBC with any regularity. I hope that one of the other channels sees the imagination and creative value of this show that we… Read more »
There is only a few shows I tend to watch on Network TV and Grimm is one. Yes it is absurd but the players work together great and I have lived in Oregon,, answers many questions. I would continue watching for as many seasons that it remains fresh. I like Blacklist and Elementary also.
Cancelling GRIMM is absurd. My wife and I TIVO everything, and GRIMM is one of a very few shows we watch the day it airs. It is the most anticipated show of our viewing week. We are heartbroken at the news. Moves like this will only accelerate network TV’s erosion to potent programming challenges from the likes of Netflix and HBO.
Why on earth would you cancel one the best shows on today? Can you sell it to another channel? There is still life and stories hhat can be told! Please keep this show on!
I would like to see Grimm return. I really enjoyed watching this show
I am disappointed by NBC’s decision to cancel Grimm. Why not cancel one of their other less than stellar shows? Huge mistake NBC. Besides Blacklist, that was the only show NBC aired that I would actually watch all the way through.
Nooooo! Looked forward to Grimm every Friday. The high point of my week. Such good acting chemistry among this family. They love each other and we love them. How can a stupid show like once upon a time start on time and get a full season and Grimm doesn’t? Is this nbc’s fault or do the writers feel they’ve just run out of ideas? The latter can be forgiven, not the former. I hope another station will pick up the show. How does the cast feel about continuing? Would they if they could be on another network? Please don’t go!
I normally avoid most of the network shows, but Grimm has always been a tremendous draw for me and I thought NBC had finally done something worthwhile. I am very disappointed that Grimm is being cancelled. I can suggest many much more worthy candidates for cancellation.
