HBO’s limited series, Big Little Lies, was originally planned as a one season show. Once it proved a success, the premium cabler approached the novel’s author about the possibility of a second season. While it is billed as a “limited event series” will John Ridley’s Guerrilla TV show end after one season on Showtime, like the mini-series of yore? If it turns out to be a ratings grabber, will it be renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A love story, Guerrilla stars: Freida Pinto, Babou Ceesay, Idris Elba, Rory Kinnear, Patrick Gibson, Nathaniel Martello-White, Daniel Mays, Denise Gough, Brandon Scott, Zawe Ashton, Bella Dayne, Wunmi Mosaku, and Nicholas Pinnock. The political drama takes place in racially charged 1970s London. The Showtime series centers on Jas Mitra (Pinto) and Marcus Hill (Ceesay), a politically active couple and the rise of the British Black Panther movement.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Note: Guerrilla is a co-production with Sky Atlantic, so overseas ratings will likely play into the decision to cancel or renew the series, as well.
What do you think? Do you like Guerrilla TV series on Showtime? Would you watch a second season of this TV show?
I enjoyed it, I like to watch shows about how it was back then. Good to learn from it. Bring it back…
Show was a masterpiece, please bring out more!
Wow, that might be the lowest rating I’ve ever seen for a national show: only 43,000 people in the entire country watched the final episode. The local news in Cleveland probably gets more viewers. The public is shunning this show. Who greenlit this thing? Why would anyone in the US be interested in this?
Cor blimey, what a load of tripe! You couldn’t pay me to watch this rubbish again.
Will someone please just cancel this disgusting sorry show. Those involved in ought to be ashamed of this mess. A complete insult to the history.
Has to be the worst rated show in TV history.
I disagree the show is amazing and I’ll pay money to watch a 2 series of this masterpeice
Brilliant sure to watch definitely watch season two
I agree with Sam, it portrays the true life of 1970’s Britain, when will series 2 be available.
Here’s a hint: This is a ratings site, he was referring to the ratings ie. the percentage of people that watched, not quality.
Just started to watch this. its not too bad, I`ve definately seen worse for example Scandal and Orange is the New Black
The bad ratings speaks volumes about this program. A program based on historical events, but instead they chose to rewrite history and mold it into something totally unbelievable.
