As expected, Harry Connick Jr. is sticking with daytime. His syndicated talk show, Harry, has been renewed for a second season. Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel, and Jason Kurtz executive produce the series with Connick and his manager, Ann Marie Wilkins.
Although the news is not yet up on the NBC-Universal press site, Variety reports NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution and Fox Television Stations have renewed the Harry TV show for season two. Season one premiered in first-run syndication, back in September of 2016.
Here’s more from Variety:
“I love my show! To continue sharing an hour every day with my audience is a great honor and thrill – can’t wait for season 2,” Connick said in a statement.
“Harry’s” viewership since its September premiere has been respectable, if not spectacular, averaging about 1.3 million viewers for the season to date in morning and early afternoon time slots. The show last week grabbed five Daytime Emmy Award nominations, including a bid for entertainment talk show host for Connick.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Harry TV series? Did you expect it to be cancelled or renewed for season two?
It is so pleasing that The Harry Show has been renewed for a second season. Mr. Connick Jr., brings such sunshine to morning TV. I live in Boca Raton, Fl., and it airs at 10am. A lovely way to start the day. Harry himself is so inspirational with his musical and vocal talent ……when his fingers hit those ivories and when he sings….it is impossible not to stop what you are doing and just smile. The Band is sensational. He has such a natural and honest way to interview his guests. The diversity of his guests are so enjoyable. Especially… Read more »
SO GLAD Harry has been renewed! A great show with a man who’s not afraid to
show he’s a “FAMILY MAN!” A refreshing change from whatever else is on at that time! Way to go Harry. LOVED your reunion show, Harry!!
Very happy the show will be renewed! Harry Connick has to be one of the nicest people on tv.
I love the Show.
HUGE FAN – Great News and Fully EXPECTED Renewal! Who else can get 4 Generations up in the living room (ages 2-84) dancing and second lining together? Harry is the real deal – from New Orleans to New York!
One more word ” GORGEOUS”
I am so very happy that I Harry is going to continue to make my days better. He is such a genuine person. If you see this Harry # ILOVE YOU.. Best show on daytime ever!!
I was in the audience back in February, as a guest of the great tenor saxman, Jerry Well-Done!. Terrific show. Entertaining, nice mix of guests and features. Made it look smooth. Keep up the good work…(and keep my buddy Jerry employed!)
Love the Harry Show went to a taping and plan to go another one can’t wait.
I love Harry. The show is great. It’s nice to hear music instead of talking bad about people like The Talk. Enough of them. Please keep Harry. I enjoy happy music and shows like Harry and Ellen.
I really enjoy the Harry Show each day. I love the music, guests and variety. However I think he needs to mix his guests with more caucasion people. I realize he is from New Orleans and has a big heart for the black race. Some of the shows have had all one race. I am not racists but you have a lot of fans who are not black. Your fan from NC.
HARRY.. i have to say at times i thought he was very arrogant on american idol..wasn’t gonna watch his show…turned on few times…way different guy on there! handsome, funny, talented…loves all people!! now addicted! bye bye live with kelly” <3 love ya HARRY!!~
HARRY- THE BEST VARIETY SHOW ON TV.
HARRY is a delight. He makes you forget your woes everyday for an hour. He is a guy with a big heart. He is funny, talented, humble, and his show is a “feel good” show. He is a family man. He and The band are. fabulous. They are and they really know how to ” back it up.”
CONGRATS HARRY, YOU MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.
I like Harry fine, but I usually only watch ANY daytime show when they have a particular guest I want to see, otherwise I pass on them all.
I thought he died fighting Aliens. Was that a stunt double?
