TV show description:
This dramatic series follows a brand new doctor from New York named Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson). After graduating at the top of her medical school class, she plans to follow in her father’s footsteps as a cardio-thoracic surgeon. Zoe’s fellowship falls through at the last minute so she decides to accept an offer to work with Dr. Harley Wilkes, an elderly physician who has a small practice in Bluebell, Alabama.
She arrives in the small town only to find that Harley has passed away and left his half of the medical practice to her in his will. She quickly finds that Southern hospitality isn’t always so hospitable. The only other doctor in town, Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson), worked for Wilkes and is less than thrilled to be sharing the practice with this young outsider. His daughter, Lemon (Jamie King), is a Southern belle whose sweet disposition turns sour as soon as she meets Zoe.
Zoe’s only allies in town are former football star and current mayor Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams), her bad-boy neighbor Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel), and handsome lawyer George Tucker (Scott Porter) — who just happens to be Lemon’s fiance.
Zoe feels like a fish out of water and is ready to pack her bags, but a surprise visit by her snobby New York mother (JoBeth Williams) leads to Zoe’s decision to stay in Bluebell for a while, discovering small-town life and a side of herself she hadn’t known was there.
Episode #76 — Bluebell
As Zoe and Wade try to work out their issues, Zoe makes a life-changing decision and Wade does everything he can to make it happen before their baby is born. Lavon feels guilty about misleading Lemon and is determined to make things right. Meanwhile, George and AnnaBeth are frustrated with their current situation, leaving them with a big decision to be made.
First aired: March 27, 2015

I just recently started watching the show and I must say It’s grown on me. It’s a feel good show and that’s needed greatly these days. PLEASE KEEP BLUEBELL ALIVE CW, KEEP HART OF DIXIE ON TV!
When I heard Hart of Dixie was being cancelled I thought I was being lied to! I love this show! It’s one of very few shows I actually watch. It’s the only show that I know of that is about family and friends and loving each other! Everyone is nice and welcoming, w
somewhere I would want to live! Most shows now are violent and gory. We need something everyone enjoys and the whole family can watch. KEEP HART OF DIXIE!!!!
Please DO NOT cancel Hart of Dixie. It’s a great warm hearted relaxing show. You can see it gives many senior citizens small parts which is a thumbs up for CW. You have a great casting of actors working together for this show. Maybe not EVERYONE is watching this show, but maybe a change of viewing night would help. How you can determine this show goes by such few negative others who are just to young to realize this show is a delight. You only have to see ERIN’S repeated comments…… of no…… Hart of Dixie is cancelled. Let us… Read more »
Please at least finish out this series. It is one of those nights we look forward to when we get to sit down together after a long day at work and watch Hart of Dixie – and watch how someone else’s lives are going – takes our minds off of ours ! Why in the world would it be cancelled?
Love the show; hope they change their minds. We’ve been watching since the first episode and look forward to it every week.
I really wish this show does not get cancelled.. or if it did already.. I wish it did not. Im a student studying medicine. And I am well aware you do not base your life off a TV show. But watching Hart of Dixie has given be a different perspective on wanting to be a doctor in a small town. Zoey(Rachel) taking on a practice in a small town coming from a big city is something Ive always wondered about with my life. When I get to residency, after watching this show, I definitely want to practice in a small… Read more »
