Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) is a former Confederate soldier who’s trying to leave his past behind. AMC is hoping that viewers won’t leave Hell on Wheels behind and the TV series will still bring solid ratings so that they won’t have to cancel it.
The current cast of this gritty drama also includes Ben Esler, Colm Meaney, Common, Dominique McElligott, Eddie Spears, Philip Burke, and Robin McLeavy.
Below are the most recent ratings for Hell on Wheels on AMC. The second season airs on Sunday nights. There are 10 episodes once again.

What do you think? Do you still like the Hell on Wheels TV series? Do you think the show should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
Great show amid the TV wasteland, there is very little programming worth watching and Hell on Wheels is worth watching. I hope AMC takes into consideration that Dish dropped them and the ratings faultered a bit. It always comes down to money not the quality of the programming.
Incredible show!! the lily-cullen hook-up just might be the hottest one on tv since Kate and Sawyer in the bear cage. All these characters are finally moving somewhere…PLEASE give this show more time to keep going.
Really great show..very realistic. Renew for season 3!!!!!
Great show. Love the interaction between the characters and can’t wait until the next episode!
I would be very unhappy if this show is cancelled. I really like this show and would like to see a season 3. Season 2 has been great!
Great show. Season two has clearly defined
these conflicted characters. Each week is a page turner, can’t wait till the next week. Look forward to season 3
This is so well crafted, please keep this series! AMC always brings unique and interesting programs! Bravo!
Love it, love it, love it. Live for the next episode.
This is a wonderful western based on the railroad being built and SO much more! Give it a chance AMC and let it live!!!
I love the show. I hope they continue it.
glad to see the ratings went up this week after taking a dip last week! I have grown to love the show and I hope it stays around!
The series is awesome. I am sad that it has only 10 espisodes once again. I could go for many more. I am always anxiously awaiting the next episode.
The real problem here has to do with AMC asking to much from the Dish Network and their millions of subscribers. Dish decide to replace AMC with Mark Cubans/Ryan Seacrests axstvHD formally HDNet. If and when Hell on Wheels does get cancelled look for DirecTV to come save the day. This is a great show that I can guarantee DirecTV will be looking at to invest in and to add to their Audience Network like they did with “Saturday Night Lights” and Glenn Close “Damages” both of which is a hit for DirecTV.
The second season is off to a terrific start. I can’t wait for the next episode.
I can’t get enough of this show! I’ll be very sad if it cancels 🙁
