When it began, Heroes was a huge hit for NBC. But then, the storylines got too convoluted, much of the audience lost interest, the ratings dropped and the network cancelled the series without any resolution. Now, they’ve revived it as a mini-series called Heroes Reborn. Will it be a big success and be brought back for a second season or will it be a flop? Stay tuned.
Heroes Reborn takes place a year after a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas. With the city destroyed, the government blamed people with special abilities and they all had to go into hiding. Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) is also in hiding, but is found by conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady (Henry Zebrowski) who tries to show him the truth. The rest of the cast includes Zachary Levi, Robbie A. Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Rya Kihlstedt, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, and Danika Yarosh.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
1/13 update: Despite some hopes from the cast, NBC has decided not to order another season.
1/22 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Heroes Reborn mini-series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Heroes reborn is a great show I love it I’m so glad I came back on the air my friends love it and I can’t wait every week for the new one so please and BC do not cancel it renewal for another season and another one after that to come many more to follow.
I was so excited when NBC brought Heroes back, I hope it stays around for a long time.
Renew for sure
Love this show like the first.
Started off unfamiliar and confusing however I stayed with it because of the special effects.so glad I did because the plot has become clearer and the not so typical powers of the Evos are a breath of fresh air. I love the villains because they really make you hate them. Please keep the show on the air!
As of last night, the show picked up speed. The problem with shows like this is you have to find a character to latch onto. The original had the time traveler, the Cheeleader, or people like the 2 brothers. It’s hard to redo that. Who are people latching on to? The transporter kid. The murdering fire-guy? the traveling girl? I forgot about the costumed vigilante. I barely thought about him. The good thing about a show like this is you don’t know what exactly is going to happen. Some people may not be as good or bad as they seem.… Read more »
It would be nice if the writer of Heroes Reborn story will use the super human characters to join forces with the government to combat some type of extraterrestrial invasion. Having the government as a gathering resource of Heroes to protect the earth rather than a conspiring agent to chase them, I believe it would add another angles and interesting challenges to look for in the series.
I am so happy to see that I’m not the only one who finds this show to be a sprawling, meandering mess of a serial. I am new to the series, but after the first few shows, completely lost any will to live, the show sucked so badly. I voiced my hatred of the show to my wife… who actually likes the show, somehow. It does me good to see that it’s not just my imagination that the show is everywhere in terms of telling the story, without actually getting anywhere with it. I can’t wait for the show to… Read more »
I’m liking this series. Alot of people are not wanting to get involved because they are afraid it’ll just go away again. Also, it is going up against Thursday night football, which will cause low ratings for the young male demo. I’m hoping they see this and understand. If Heroes was on a day unopposed, it would be doing great.
I’ll watch the show because I like the genre’. But, disappointingly, Heroe’s has not been “Reborn”, it’s simply been resurrected. After watching the first couple of episodes I don’t see anything new going on and I’m only mildly interested in the show or the characters. Maybe it’s because the superhero genre’ has evolved over the past decade with movies and TV shows like Superman, Batman, Flash, Arrow, The Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men, Agents of SHIELD, etc., I find it suprising that Heroe’s Reborn has not reinvented or even upgraded itself. Instead, they are just continuing to follow the same plodding path… Read more »
I actually was expecting this spin-off to be better. Apparently I set my expectations a little too high. So far the show is still just as bad as it was by the last shows series finale.
sounds like they just picked up where the left off, so to speak. ratings will just get worse
I really think this show is going to do great it needs to stay on look forward to watching the next show
I’d love to show it needs to be on the air and look forward to watching it next week

heroes has no where to go but down. it is so convoluted. it’s just as bad as when it ended before. i’ll DVR it but really it’s just not that good.
