Get ready to watch a town brought back to life. Home Town Rescue is coming soon to HGTV. The series will show Ben and Erin Napier as they work together to renovate an entire town. The series will consist of six episodes. The duo currently appear in Home Town, which will return in 2020.
HGTV revealed more about the new series in a press release. Check that out below.
“HGTV has given the production greenlight to new event series Home Town Rescue (wt), starring Ben and Erin Napier who will take on their biggest project yet – an entire town in need of a renovation. The Napiers will mobilize members of one community to renovate multiple individual homes in the town and upgrade public spaces, such as parks, local diners and/or recreational centers. The husband and wife duo, who currently star in the network’s hit series, Home Town, helped rebuild their own neck of the woods in Laurel, Mississippi – inspiring the population to transform the town’s empty storefronts and houses that were in disrepair into a thriving destination for tourists and locals alike.
“Home Town Rescue is exactly what fans of Ben and Erin have been asking for and it will change one lucky community in a powerful and significant way,” said Betsy Ayala, svp, programming and development for HGTV. “We’ve seen how Ben and Erin put their heart and soul into every incredible renovation. It’s time for another town to benefit from their experience and expertise. This time, a different community will see their hometown restored to its former glory.””
Home Town Rescue will arrive on HGTV in 2021.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Home Town? Will you check out Home Town Rescue?
This is a great show with very nice people, depicting the good that is in humanity.
There should be more shows like this one, and less shows with names like: “Granny Got a Gun,” “Fear Thy Neighbor,” “Marriage Then Murder,” “Buried In The Back Yard,” etc. No wonder depression and other mental illnesses, are on the rise in this Country!
We need more shows like this depicting good, and only investigative reporting shows depicting bad. The rest of the bad can be found on FAKE NEWS from CNN, MSNBC and local affiliates every day!
My husband and I love this show for its small budget renovations and attention to bringing new life to older structures. They seem genuinely interested and happy with these remodels plus the lovely personal touches Ben and Erin bring to each home. I hope their commitments to smaller older renovation are indeed genuine. Please don’t get greedy and remain focused on those who have less money yet hope for restoration of lovely older homes across the US. THANK YOU!
This is my least favorite HGTV show. They are so fake. The show is scripted I get that but they are so fake. Including the vintage truck. Replace this show with someone who knows construction not an art major
Great Show!!!
I live near a small town of 500 or so. New meadows Idaho. It’s the intersection of 2 major hwy’s & yet doesn’t thrive. It’s very picturesque here. However, we don’t even have a grocery store. There’s so much potential here but it’s unrealized .. I think it would be worth your time to look at it.
Could HGTV help Paradise California after a wildfire destroyed an entire town. I live in Southern California and we deal with fires every year, some started by electric wires. High winds. Bad combo. Those people need help.
Thank You,
Sylvia
We love the show. Better then most of the home improvement.
It is Fresh, Practical and most of all has Affordable, Realistic budget for the Entire project.
Let’s just say this, if my Husband and I were about 10 or 15 years younger, we would love to have and home recreated into a loving Bungalow/Cottage.
Doing a great job doing what so many small towns in the USA
Jewell and Steve
They are the cutest couple, I love their show . Their show is the best on HGTV. I wish they would remove “Love It Or List It” I can’t stand that show.
Yes. I agree. I turn the channel every time live it or list it comes on.
I love this show and Erin and Ben. It’s truly the best show on hgtv. My husband only watches this show as we love the way they recycle and build with things left over. Every house is gorgeous when finished. The couple is talented and adorable. Please keep renewing!
I love this show more than any other on hgtv! These two are adorable and talented. Since I discovered it I rarely watch other shows. Please never take it off air. It’s the cream of the crop❤️
I was a true fan until Ben’s brother made a racial slur. I’ve tried to watch since then…but he was so comfortable saying it to his brother…like it was something normal and accepted in there conversations. I can’t watch it anymore…it makes me sad. I thought you might be interested in why I am no longer a fan or not. Rachel
THIS IS MY FAVORITE SHOW ON HGTV. PLEASE KEEP THEM ON AND REMODELING….THEY DO A FANTASTIC JOB…
Home Town is fantastic! Restoring houses to make them a gorgeous home is one part. My favorite part, though, is how Ben and Erin work together, using their incredible talents and creativity to create a dream home for the lucky couple/family. They make me want to move to Laurel!
Love Home Town, and am really glad it is coming back. They are very entertaining, AND very talented.
I love the HOME TOWN show. I am so happy they are coming back.
I adore spending time with these sweet folks. They are the new Chip and Joanna!!
