Last season’s ratings declined over the course of the 13 episodes. Will the numbers perk back up this season? If they don’t, it doesn’t look like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is in danger of being cancelled any time soon. After all, it’s already been renewed for season nine.
The eighth season episodes typically air Thursday nights on FX. There are 13 installments and the cast once again includes Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito.

What do you think? Do you still like the It’s Always Sunny TV series? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for a 10th season?
If I had it my way, I would renew It’s Always Sunny for another six seasons! The numbers are still good for the show, and I bet there will be an uptick now that we are in sweeps month. I work nights at DISH, so I catch up with the show when I get home since it’s recorded on my Hopper. The huge amount of hard drive space helps me keep up with programs when I have time for TV. The show is hilarious and FX will definitely add on an 11th season!
