Perhaps the world is beyond saving. ABC has cancelled its Kevin (Probably) Saves the World TV show — after just one season of 16 episodes. The defacto series finale aired in March.
An ABC dramedy, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World stars Jason Ritter, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Chloe East, J. August Richards, Dustin Ybarra, and India de Beaufort. The fantasy TV series centers on the formerly self-involved Kevin Finn (Ritter). As the last of the 36 righteous born into his generation, Kevin is told by his heavenly guide that he “power up” his soul by committing selfless acts of kindness, so he can locate and anoint the next 36 and (probably) save the world.
Kevin (Probably) Saves the World: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of Kevin (Probably) Saves the World averaging a 0.67 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.70 million viewers. In the end, those numbers were just too low for the network to order a second season.
In total, there were four single-season dramas on the Alphabet’s chopping block today: Marvel’s Inhumans, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, The Crossing, and Deception.
Variety has confirmed the Kevin (Probably) Saves the World cancellation.

This was one of tge greatest shows that has come out in a very long time. I love Ritter, he is quirky and funny and endearing. I will miss this show so much 🙁 why is it that every time there’s a really great show It gets canceled? It seems that if it’s not a reality show or some depressing, murder filled show that it doesn’t last… I don’t think these People really know what the public wants. I love Kevin. Every dang time I like a show.. .BOOM it’s gone. At least Last Man is coming back ( i know its a different network) since’ they’ realized the error of their ways. Please consider bringing Kevin back.
Typical, show gets cancelled because majority of teenager watching crap like Kardashians and similar shows outweigh viewers watching a good heart-warming show like Kevin saves..

another stupid ABC thing to do it was funny and had hope of a long series, hats off ABC won’t watch your network anymore ,fire the dummy that cancelled the series….you don’t know WHAT viewers WANT AT ALL!!!!
I am very disappointed that Kevin (Probably) Saves the World has been cancelled. This was a very interesting show that kept me tuning in each week to see what would happen next. I loved everything about it; especially the premise and the actors. Please bring this show back. It is worth saving!

I think it is a show worth keeping. It is like “Touched by an Angel” for this generation. It has a clever “what will happen next” “who’s behind it” “will he put the puzzle of the vision and find the others” that kept me glued. In today’s world of recording shows how do they capture the “true” viewing audience? The show and characters have an intoxicating quality that in rare these days.
Please bring back Kevin (Probably )Saves the World ! I LOVE every character on this show. This show is like a beacon of light and hope in an otherwise dark , negative world. If not on ABC perhaps on Fox because I also Love Last Man Standing! Please, please, please!!!!!
