What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World stars Jason Ritter, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Chloe East, J. August Richards, Dustin Ybarra, and India de Beaufort. The fantasy TV series centers on Kevin Finn. While he is not the world’s worst person, Kevin is self-involved and materialistic. While wallowing in his own misery, Kevin experiences a sequence of unbelievable events, then meets Yvette (Gregory), his heavenly guide. She informs him that he is the last of the 36 righteous born into his generation. Without the 36, everyone on Earth will begin to lose the only thing keeping them going — hope. Now, it is up to Kevin to “power up” his soul by committing selfless acts of kindness, so he can locate and anoint the next 36 and (probably) save the world.

Telly’s Take
Kevin (Probably) Saves the World launched with disappointing ratings and they haven’t gotten any better. Though the network has ordered three more episodes, I think the numbers are too low for the series to be renewed for a second season. Clearly, ABC still has a Tuesdays at 10pm problem. We loved Kevin (probably) Saves the World. A wonderful family show with life lessons and values. We vote to bring the show back.
My husband and I really loved Kevin probably saves the world. It was different, warm, funny and made you think. We loved the characters. Why not just put the show in a different time slot? Really think they should rethink cancelling.
