What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World stars Jason Ritter, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Chloe East, J. August Richards, Dustin Ybarra, and India de Beaufort. The fantasy TV series centers on Kevin Finn. While he is not the world’s worst person, Kevin is self-involved and materialistic. While wallowing in his own misery, Kevin experiences a sequence of unbelievable events, then meets Yvette (Gregory), his heavenly guide. She informs him that he is the last of the 36 righteous born into his generation. Without the 36, everyone on Earth will begin to lose the only thing keeping them going — hope. Now, it is up to Kevin to “power up” his soul by committing selfless acts of kindness, so he can locate and anoint the next 36 and (probably) save the world.

Telly’s Take
Kevin (Probably) Saves the World launched with disappointing ratings and they haven’t gotten any better. Though the network has ordered three more episodes, I think the numbers are too low for the series to be renewed for a second season. Clearly, ABC still has a Tuesdays at 10pm problem. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW ALIVE! I absolutely LOVE “Kevin Probably Saves the World”!!! It’s so nice to have a positive, feel good show on TV in a time when go-to TV is all about violence & hate. KPSW & This Is Us (sorry, I know its another network!) are my MUST SEE TV shows.
PLEASE listen to the fans of this show, and not simply the critics who keep the hate going.

This is a wonderful show that only needs time to be discovered by audiences. Jason Ritter is hypnotically watchable as Kevin. His many quirky mannerisms alone are worth watching the program for.

Awesome show. Great concept, though a bit recycled. More feel good shows like it are needed. Ritter is perfect, and it is light and airy instead of dark and foreboding. I hope it stays.
I like the show- it’s a grower. The story isn’t handed to you, you have to sit through each episode and see how it plays out. Maybe that’s too much to ask from an audience that has become addicted to CGI and characters with dark motives. But I hope ABC gives this show a chance.
Love this show! It’s so nice to view comedy written for adults that has punch and is funny without being negative. Jason Ritter is perfect in this role and has excellent timing for the comedic situations and conversations. Love it! Hope there’s a second season (and more!).
This show should not be cancelled at all since it is entertaining and nice to watch.
If ABC cancels it they are missing a chance to have a great show influence people in a nice way, like for instance “My name is Earl” did.
Yes, keep it on. It is funny and I love watching Jason Ritter and
his facial expressions and body language. He is as good as an
actor as his Dad. It is like watching his Dad-John Ritter.
These TV stations need to give more shows a chance, until more
people realize they are on TV and good.
I love this show! We need a show about kindness and it’s funny. The actors are great and it would be very disappointing if it gets cancelled. Please renew for another season!
Love, love, love this show. It’s my daughter’s and my favorite program. I particularly like how it makes you think about how the actions and decisions you make impact other people in ways you might not expect. It might take a little while to develop a following, but once folks discover it they will be loyal and avid viewers.

Move this show to a different night PRONTO!
It shouldn’t be lined up against two big name crime shows.
Please don’t fail me. I’m tired of depressing murder tv. I want to see something with hope, life, and positive meaning behind the plot. This show has what it takes to be a success, you just need to position it better. I’m just one person writing this, but I represent many. Thank you.

I LOVE Kevin probably saves the world!! It has such heart and always a feel good feeling!! PLEASE keep it going!! Reminds me of the older great shows like “Touched by an angel” The world needs more shows like this!!!
I agree with you, but I dont think the majority of the nation wants a show like this. Touched by an Angel was popular during an era when people were somewhat different. I also think that the show started off too silly. The serious parts are really good & I like the characters but I dont think they balanced it right (more serious & a little less silly would have been better). Kinda like Lethal Weapon.
