TV show description:
Jack Bourdain (Bradley Cooper) is an accomplished chef who messed up his career with drinking, womanizing and drug abuse. He gets a chance to repair his reputation when he’s hired by Pino Lugeria (Frank Langella) as the head chef at the distinguished New York restaurant Nolita.
Jack has 48 hours to get the kitchen up and running so he recruits his old friends like pastry chef Seth Richman (Nicholas Brandon), seafood chef Teddy Wong (John Cho), sous-chef Steven Daedelus (Owain Yeoman), and rookie pastry chef Jim (John Francis Daley).
Pino’s daughter, Mimi (Bonnie Somerville), helps to run the restaurant, resents Jack, and believes he will run it into the ground.
