Will there be another season of The Last Kingdom? SpoilerTV reports the UK series has been renewed for a third season.
The historical drama, which streams on Netflix in the U.S., takes place during the early history of England, when the land was divided into separate kingdoms. The cast includes Alexander Dreymon, David Dawson, Emily Cox, Ian Hart, and Tobias Santelmann.
Recently, a casting notice was released for season three of The Last Kingdom. Neither Netflix nor the BBC have confirmed a renewal, but the casting notice suggests there most likely will be.

I absolutely love this series, it’s one of my all-time favorites. This series contains everything necessary for a great show – drama, suspense, action, romance, etc. I can only hope that they will release as many seasons as it takes to cover all the books !
I love the show, and I am truly hoping for a 3rd season…. I have watched the repeat of the season 1 and 2 at least 3 times now, and will probably watch a few more times until a 3rd season begins ..looking forward to see if Uhtred will get back what is rightfully his… PLEASE let there be many more season ahead..
Excellent show! Based on history, not made up trash like Game of Thrones. Plus I dream of Uhtred ripping off my clothes.

I have been waiting for the ending to this series for a long time . It is good to know it’ll be coming, as it just wasn’t finished. After GOT I watched The last Kingdom and was me mesmerized by all the actors and events that made up this series. Can’t wait for the ending, just love this series. Thank you !
