The Last Ship has made a small change to its cast for its fifth season, which will arrive this summer. Jodie Turner-Smith has been upped to regular member of the cast.
Deadline revealed more about her role on the TNT drama:
“Smith plays Azima Kandie, a sergeant in the Kenyan Navy and new VBSS operator aboard Nathan James. She joined the global cause to eradicate the virus after hearing stories of the legendary Captain Tom Chandler. Azima is beautiful and flirtatious, but she also knows 50 ways to kill a man with her bare hands.”

I was hooked from the start. It’s an excellent series and can’t wait for the fifth season.
I think it is one of the best shows ever. Best crew ever, I really enjoy the characters in hostile position.

I wish they would put the show Last Ship on Hulu past season 2. That is all they have so far and I am getting disappointed with them. So far the series is very much better than the book which is unusual for any show or movie based on a novel.

Love it. Retired from the US Navy. This is the only tv series I watch. I’m looking at finding all the previous seasons to watch as I’m 100% permanent and total disabled from the va. Finally found something interesting to watch.
