Lethal Weapon is nearing the end of its second season, but will there be a third? Deadline reports star Clayne Crawford’s on-set behavior might risk a season three renewal from FOX.
Based on the hit film franchise, the buddy cop drama centers on two very different cops working together on the streets of Los Angeles. The cast includes Crawford, Damon Wayans, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, and Michelle Mitchenor.
According to Deadline, Crawford has a “history of bad behavior on the show, and that he has been disciplined several times over complaints of emotional abuse and creating a hostile environment.”
Neither FOX nor Warner Bros. TV have commented on the situation, but it appears Crawford’s behavior could risk a renewal for Lethal Weapon.

I think this is total BS. Don’t believe a word of it. Hope Clayne finds out who started this nasty rumor and nips it in the butt!! Such a coincidence how this comes out now while everyone is hoping for a season 3.
AMAZING Clayne Crawford is an exceptional talent and brings his uniqueness into the Riggs character…sometimes subtle sometimes blatant…he is mesmerizing!
Lethal Weapon is my favorite TV series because of the acting quality displayed by all, and they each seem to love what they are doing on set; the fascinating scripts combining crime, action, comedy, family; everything coalesces into a cohesive, absorbing series. And Clayne is SUPER….
Don’t lose him! The director just needs to sit down with him and figure out what the problem is — and solve it —- and don’t let Crawford go!!!!!!

I love this show. I really hope it isn’t cancelled . Tell Riggs to straighten up and fly right. Not fair to Damon Wayans he’s awesome. I love both their characters .

Why don’t they just fire Crawford for his bad behaviour and recast Martin Riggs for a third season?
I agree. Recast Riggs with a new actor with a good behaviour for next season.
Because that is a great actor who is passionate about his job hell I don’t like 75percent of the people I work with but without them I would not have a job get real do you get along with everyone you work with hell chump I don’t like you so suck grapes.
Renew. 100% renew. The chemistry is fantastic. And I don’t believe a word of “gossip”. If it’s true, I want an actual statement. Not words flying around. I’d say the only thing that I know, from his podcats, etc. is he does things his way. And his way has made the show a hit.
Please, please, please renew Lethal Weapon!!!! I was one of those cynics who jeered at the thought of FOX bringing a series based on a beloved big screen franchise to the small screen. But 10 minutes into the pilot episode I was extremely happy with adaptation. So much so that not only do i watch new eps live as they air but I also purchase the episodes on Amazon. Please save this show!!!
