What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Longmire stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Bartley, and A Martinez. Based on the Craig Johnson mystery novel series, the drama centers on Absaorka County, Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Taylor).
In November 2016, Longmire was renewed for a sixth season and final season. The finale was released on November 17, 2017. Could it return some day? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Fans don’t have to spend season six wondering whether Netflix will cancel or renew Longmire for season seven. Last November, the streaming service announced it was renewed for a sixth and final season. Longmire fans have had a long time to prepare themselves for the end of this contemporary western crime thriller. It originally ran for three seasons on A&E. When the cable network cancelled Longmire, Netflix rode in for the rescue. At least this time, the writing team has had ample time to craft a suitable ending. I’ll still keep my eye out for news related to Longmire, so subscribe for free updates.

I personally love this show!!! I’ve binged watched it numerous times waiting on the next season always! I honestly wish someone would pick it up and renew it, because it is an awesome show. It has everything all in one. It’s nail biting. Definately a must watch. The show is amazing I’ve been constantly praying for a renewal of this amazing show. Long live longmire!!! Especially since he an Vic are finally moving forward it was a good ending but I feel there is sooo much more for the storyline. I love this show. I hope there is another rescue in the works as there aren’t many shows that I like on tv right now.
I loved THIS SERIES Ifelt it was one the best series on television.I enjoyed it more than any show on the tv.
We absolutely fell in love with this series. My husband and I are hoping for a 7th season because Henry is out in the DESERT baking just WAITING for us! Come on Netflix, don’t leave us hanging!!
I agree, cancelling Longmire is the wrong way to go. How big of a following is there behind Longmire ? Here’s an idea: “Could a Crowd Funding project with KickStarter or Indiegogo help change Netflix’s decision ?”

Longmire is on my short list for the best series on TV. I am astonished that Netflix would even consider not renewing it. It has a great niche home in the vast world of series available for viewing. The acting, the story lines and the scenery are impeccable. I pray that someone comes to their senses before this series is gone for good. I am fully vested in Walt Longmire and the cast and if it is no longer available for viewing it will leave a hollow space in my heart.

Longmire is a great show, many plots turns and twists, great characters of strength and weakness.. Longmire is directly related to giving me confidence and a platform to start writing my own story line of a crazy genre of crime, horror, wit, loyalty, love and who done it.. Bring it back Please…
