Giving the devil his due this Halloween, FOX has ordered a full second season of its Lucifer TV show. Because in its first season, Lucifer premiered at midseason, originally, the network only ordered 13 episodes for season two. Now, Deadline reports FOX has just picked up the back nine, therefore giving the show a full 22 episode season.
Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Rachel Harris, Kevin Alejandro, DB Woodside, Scarlett Estevez, and Tricia Helfer star in the horror/black comedy series.

“Lucifer continues to deliver, with great blasts of dark humor and ambitious storytelling. The show has turned out to be a true wicked pleasure, the perfect companion to Gotham, and we couldn’t be more pleased to order these nine additional episodes,” said Fox entertainment president David Madden.

This is a terrific show! I love that Lucifer doubts and questions his Father and even feels angry with Him. A lot like many of us humans. The show is a little hokey, very funny and sharp witted, and asks some deep, existential questions about the nature of God.
My husband and I love the show. It’s well written and very entertaining. We would love a season 3.
I love this show.. i hadnt seen it till i got hulu and let me tell you i binged watched it for 2 days. I really hope theres a season 3.. i almost got actual cable cause i thought hulu just didnt have the new season and then realized it was over. I want a season 3 lol..

It is just now (Dec 2016) starting to get interesting. I would like to see more spiritual/religious overtones. The ambiguity of it all is compelling, but let’s mix in some real dialogue about it in the show. I think it would be fun – from Science of Mind to Catholicism and everything in between. C’mon – you writers can do it. The networks need help.
Its brilliant. We have binge watched both first and second season on amazon here in the UK. Can not wait for the third series (ohh series is the proper word for it.. not season)
