Based on Lev Grossman’s best-selling books, The Magicians TV show is set at the secret Brakebills University for students of magical ability. Grad student Quentin Coldwater (Jason Ralph) spends more time immersed in a fantasy book series than living his life. When he and his best friend Julia (Stella Maeve) are transported to Brakebills for an entrance exam, their world changes forever. The Syfy cast also includes Olivia Taylor Dudley, Arjun Gupta, Hale Appleton, Summer Bishil, Jade Tailor, and Rick Worthy.

After Marina and the Beast were gone, I no longer cared and stopped watching. When shows kill off their best bcharacters they deserve to be ended. Now there is no one but the annoying prpe school kids and their blind not blind black professor all of whom I hate. I still like Julia, but she is not enough to keep me watching. i especially hate Penny.

Considering that the ratings were higher in season two than they were in season one, I think this show could be on for many seasons to come.

I am a confessed Gen X-er who is hopelessly hooked on the show since Day One. Season 2 definitely not disappoint! There is no way Syfy would have passed on a third season for this show!

The show was officially RENEWED for a season 3 and it still has a chance of finishing with a higher live rating than season one, which would be the first show on SYFY to do that in Lord knows how long. We’ll find out what happens next week.

Me too love the show as other people….From my childhood I’m into fantasy movies and series as this The Magicians is now included in my list….My favourite character in this is Olivia Taylor Dudley….Just wow…..But sadly she doesn’t have good movies but this show is the best cuz of her…. Soooo please make season 3 also….We r waiting passionately…
I LOVE this show! Wednesdays have become my favorite day of the week just because of The Magicians. I truly love how they’ve incorporated tuttimg as a way of spell casting, and how this storyline brings new wonders and magic to my imagination. This is also one of the very show where I could never pick who my favorite character is… they ALL are my favorite. I’ve told all of my friends and family about The Magicians. Please renew for a season 3 and more!!
I rather watch The Magicians than Game of Thrones, please don’t cancel it. I love the show!
