TNT is shifting toward dark and gritty TV shows and they’re ending their most-watched drama (Rizzoli & Isles). So, where does that leave Major Crimes? Could this be the final season? We already know it will be the shortest season since 2012. Will Major Crimes be cancelled or renewed for a sixth season? Stay tuned.
Major Crimes follows the further investigations of the detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Major Crimes division. The crime drama’s cast includes Mary McDonnell, Tony Denison, GW Bailey, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, Robert Gossett, Phillip P. Keene, Graham Patrick Martin, Kearran Giovanni, and Jonathan Del Arco.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

It seems like forever since Major Crimes was on the schedule. I am so glad it is finally coming back. Don’t watch a lot of TV, but it is my favorite (No. 1) show.

I love Major Crimes. All the actors are interesting and “real.” The writers earn their salaries ten times over! Please keep this on. It’s one of the best “crime” shows on television.

TNT has been a part of my TV life for a long time. I was an avid fan of The Closer. I loved this show and the characters. When it ended I was so sad that this smart entertaining show was gone. These characters were a part of my life each week. When Major Crimes continued with most of the same characters I was thrilled. I hope they will continue the show for a 6th season. Frustrated UK viewer of The Closer and Major Crimes. By far and away the best acted, best scripted, best produced procedural crime dramas to come out of the USA. I feel so helpless over here being manipulated by the US viewing figure wars that decide what we get to see. Please bring series 6 to our screens otherwise only dross will replace it!

We just discovered this show about a month ago and got so hooked we had to buy all the episodes released (so far) then buy “The Closer” for the same reason. The cast of both shows are stellar & the writing top notch. One of the main reasons for it’s success is they took the time & effort necessary to develop the characters so much you don’t see them as “characters” or “actors”…they are people. Please do not cancel this show. I am getting so sick and tired of really liking a good show, and then it is gone. I will not watch reality T.V. I want great entertainment and a weekly series like Major Crimes that really tells a story. Please do not let Major Crimes go by the way side.
