Jesse Eisenberg is going into business with J.J. Abrams. Deadline reports Eisenberg will write, direct, and star in Bad Robot’s The Market TV show, which is in the works at Warner Bros. Television. The two will executive produce with Ben Stephenson.
A single-camera comedy, according to the report, The Market “centers on the recently widowed Harold Katzman who moves to Pittsburgh to live with his adult son, Stan (Eisenberg). Both men simultaneously lose their jobs due to the changing American economy and are thrust into an unforgiving job market.”
