What’s This TV Show About?
A four-way crossover TV series streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Marvel’s The Defenders stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Sigourney Weaver, Elodie Yung, Jessica Henwick, Rosario Dawson, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Scott Glenn, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Simone Missick. The story centers on Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil (Cox), Jessica Jones (Ritter), Luke Cage (Colter), and Danny Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist. Although these superheroes generally prefer to work alone, New York City is now in grave danger. Despite their solitary tendencies, they must join forces, if their city has a shot at salvation.
Netflix has stopped making Marvel superhero shows so we know that, by extension, Marvel’s The Defenders has been cancelled. Stay tuned for further updates.

Because Nielsen doesn’t track streaming platform ratings, it is hard to gauge the performance of TV shows like Marvel’s The Defenders, unless Netflix decides to publicize its success. Want second season
I am disappointed that Netflix cancelled Iron Fist, The Defenders, and etc. For Danny Rand ska the iron fist there should be a 3rd season because st the end of the season finale both of his hands good up and also his girlfriend Colleen also has the iron fist and her sword turns white. And also for the defenders at the end of the season finale it turns out that Matt Murdock aka Daredevil is still alive. So hopefully in the future these shows will have countless season.
I would be devastated if it was cancelled. Alot of time was invested into the building up to The Defenders. I am a huge fan and I absolutely love The Defenders and all the stand alone shows that led up to them all working together. It was beautifuly put together. A true masterpiece. Everyone I know enjoys it as well. It’s much better than the DC shows and way more realistic and in depth. You got a full back story of each character and feel like you really got to know them. I completely enjoyed the Defenders show. I would be very disappointed if a second season was not made. All my friends have watch the show too and feel the same way. I need to know what happened to Electra and the future of Daredevil. Please make more episodes, I will always be a fan.
The Defenders was a great tv series I watched it and felt it had everything and I hope the series will continue, I loved all the super hero’s as I watch all of the super hero series its great to see all come together.
