Mike & Molly will return to CBS for its sixth season at mid-season, but it could be the end for the popular CBS comedy.
Billy Gardell spoke about the comedy possibly being cancelled at the end of the next batch of episodes in an interview with CBS 58 last month.
During the interview, he pointed out that the decreased episode order for the series could mean that the series is coming to the end of an “epic, epic run.”
He expects there will be a lot of tears during the final week of shooting, and he also said that his co-star Melissa McCarthy is not ready for the show to come to an end either. He said that his co-star calls the cast “a huddled mass- because we just care for each other.”
Are you a fan of Mike & Molly? Do you want CBS to keep the sitcom on the air? Tell us what you think.
Yeah keep all the junk reality shows on and take off the good stuff! That sucks Mike and Molly is an awesome TV show wake up.
Please do not cancel. My favorite comedy on the air. Funnier than Big Bang and all the others on CBS combined. Love ALL of the characters especially Peggy Biggs.
Typical T V executives!!! Get rid of the good shows & put on more stupid so called reality shows!!!
Please please please keep it on!!
I hope they keep the show on. I love the characters, especially Mike’s mom. After watching all the reruns several times, I’m ready for some new ones.
I have been a fan of the show Mike and Molly sense the show first aired. I love watching the show. There’s not the mean funny shows. Please keep Mike and Molly running.
this is a great show, great actors is it too tame for everyone? that is why its so funny and a great show
NO NO Don’t cancel this show. Mike and Molly is the best! We even watch all the reruns! Please don’t!
NO!!! I love this show – always watch the re-runs, not matter how many time they re-air the same episodes! And I have all the seasons on DVD. I am definitely going to miss this show if they do end up cancelling it
This has a fine talented cast and it was a mistake to spend so much air time on the Molly character! Balance out the cast interactions and voila! magic again.
I agree, it’s a pretty funny show but they do waste a lot of episode time on Molly. But for us, the funniest characters are Vince & the guy that runs the restaurant… sorry, but I can’t remember his name… those 2 make the show for us.
OH SAY IT ISN’T SOOO!
why i liked the show
Yes i think its a great comedy and I think the whole cast is great and it should stay on for many more seasons. But of course I am not in the age demographic that CBS execs care about as I am 58 years young. It will probably be over though cause CBS constantly takes off great shows and replaces them with garbage. Stalker is one show that immediately comes to mind. Their next show to get the axe will probably be the Good Wife which is quite possibly my very favorite show but again my opinion doesnt count with… Read more »
I also like Mike and Molly and agree with you that Stalker was a great show too. Although I don’t think The Good Wife is as good as it use to be.
You and me both. I am 68 and really enjoy this show, but their demographics are18 to 49. It appears the networks don’t realize our age group are the ones actually watching, and not dvring, and fast forwarding through commercials.
This is a great show. There hasn’t been a show this good since everybody loves Raymond. Please don’t cancel this wonderful comedy. We need more laughter and less violence and sex on television.
I agree it great watching a comedy without loads of swearing & its a warm family show(..please keep this) I’m from the uk & LOVE this show x
great program….don’t cancel it……..
