Nashville will return to ABC on March 16 with the second half of season four, and it is likely fans will also see a fifth season and more of the drama.
Many fans wondered if season four would be the last season of the series. Nashville also faced a challenge this season with Hayden Panettiere leaving the production for a time to receive treatment for postpartum depression.
However, there is no end in sight for this series. According to Entertainment Weekly, Paul Lee spoke about the series at the Winter TCA’s on Saturday.
He said:
“We don’t have any plans to finish Nashville. We have an incredibly passionate audience. The Nashville audience grows by a large amount in our delay viewings. No, at this point, no plans for Nashville other than to keep it going.”
These comments do fall in line with an earlier Nashville report from TV Series Finale that said Nashville would return for a fifth season.
Are you a fan of Nashville? Do you want to see it continue? Tell us what you think.
Have been watching Nashville for 3 years and enjoyed it. However, this year it is too dark and depressing. If it continues like this we are done with it.
I loved your show till last nights show. I still love the music and the actors. But I feel how the story line went is not what I would even let my 21 year old son watch as if I would let anyone younger.
Your story line was very upsetting. I work with 40 others who view your show and we all are thinking about not watching the show anymore.
Just thought you should know.
Thank you

I’ve been a fan of Nashville since it’s premier…loved seeing the characters overcome issues and move forward. The music is awesome….but this season is leaving alot to be desired!! Every character is going backward, and not being portrayed in a positive way. From Scarlett & Gunner’s pettiness last nite, to Deacon going back into the hell hole of alcoholism (doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out), to Maddie’s ridiculous emancipation from the parents she fought so hard for to get together, to Lelah’s revenge lust. Actually, the only character that is moving forward is played by Hayden… Read more »
Nashville has great story lines and teaches us a little something with every episode. Great cast, good music and good writing.
Used to love Nashville and still love the music, but am very disgusted at how the producers have to break up every marriage and good relationship on the show. I like watching TV shows that make me feel better for watching them, not sickened, irritated, and annoyed.
Wake up Nashville producers…there is a reason you are losing ratings and viewers, and you are losing me and my family because we are disgusted at the message you are sending. There is enough divorce and your show is a horrible role model.
LOVE NASHVILLE!!! I’ve been watching it from the beginning so much real life to relate to…please do not cancel it!!!
Love, love, love Nashville, best series on TV!!!!
Nashville is one of the best shows on channel 7 aside from scandal. I look forward to seeing Nashville and don’t ever want it to go off the air. Please keep Nashville on. I love it so much and so do many many other friends and family too.
Nashville is one of the best shows on network TV for its excellence in musicianship and its acting. There are so many possibilities for further character and story development. Hopefully ABC will see its value and respect its loyal audience.
yea, they hit the nail on the head, i started watching nashville only thru hulu, at first without plus so i was always an episode behind, but now im just a day late. i hate to say but its rare that i dont cry or yell at someone every episode, im way too invested in these characters! but they are so natural, and passionate too. the writers are amazing, the songs and voices are amazing. i pray this show lasts longer than anyone expects.
Love Nashville! The music is amazing and I make sure I’m home to watch each week. Connie Britton and Charles Esten have a phenomenal chemistry that not a lot of tv couples can pull off. I love watching them in scenes together. I just wish I could watch them filming this in person. My favorite show.
I love Nashville looking forward to season 4 in the UK
i love nashville i have been watching it since the beginning please Dont CANCEL
Yes, yes, yes. Please, more Nashville.
My girlfriends and I get together for take-out every week just to watch Nashville. We love the story lines , the actors and the music. Please don’t cancel this intelligent, interesting show. We all range in age from 29 to 40. We don’t want to lose this to another brain draining so called “reality show”. Don’t make another mistake the way you did in cancelling “GCB”.
