NBC is all in the family. Variety reports the network has ordered a comedy pilot about the co-dependent relationship between a father and son.
The pilot comes from writer Vladimir Caamano, who will also star in the untitled series.
The multi-cam comedy will feature Caamano as the “son of Dominican immigrants, who wants to carve his own path in life, which proves difficult as his father has no desire to change their extremely co-dependent relationship.”
The project’s co-writer Adam Sztykiel will executive produce alongside Caamano, Jeff Inglod, and Bill Lawrence.
What do you think? Would you watch this pilot? Do you think NBC should order more multi-camera comedies?
I think this sounds like a great idea for a series, and the producing team sounds rock solid & experienced. Live sitcom tapings help us laugh and relate to the flaws of life in fun, unique ways. I do believe NBC is on the right track with this newly ordered pilot, and I look forward to seeing their final product.
