Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

I need a 3rd season please!
I am so disappointed with WGN for cancelling this show so to be sure I won’t watch this Network anymore. I would love to see another network pick up this show. It deserves another chance.
I want to see a 3rdseason. Shame on WGN for cancelling the Outsider series. Even my 80 year old father is upset for your decision to cancel. He says he won’t go to that channel again to watch unless you bring back the 3rd etc seasons. Your viewers are telling you which ones we want. So, you should be listening.

Definitely will keep watching this show! It’s fresh and exciting, it’s a unique show–not the same old police or hospital drama. The cast is amazing –please give this show a 3rd season……and a 4th,……..etc!

My husband and I love the show! We would follow the show on another channel. Lots of interesting things going on and we can’t wait to see what happens next. Please WGNA renew Outsiders!!!

I really hope that it gets renewed because the last episode left way to many unanswered questions. Plus I just love this show.
