TV show description:
This drama series is set in the rugged hills of Appalachia and follows the Farrell clan. They are a tight-knit family of renegades who have lived atop Shay Mountain for over two hundred years.
The Farrells live off the grid and above the law, enforcing their own set of long-held values and beliefs. They are governed by a simple but powerful tribal authority led by a Bren’in, or ruler, and a small council of elders.
Notoriously secretive and unforgiving when crossed, the Farrells find themselves in conflict with the residents of the nearest town nestled at the foot of Shay Mountain. These locals — and all others outside the tribe — embody greed, malice and all forms of corruption that must be avoided at any cost. Direct contact with the ‘Losties’ (as named by the Farrells) is strictly forbidden.
For the last 20 years, an uneasy truce has generally presided between the ‘Losties’ and the family tribe of Shay Mountain — until Big Coal enters the arena. Never ones to back down from a fight, the Farrells will ultimately defend their way of life using any available means.
Characters include: Big Foster (David Morse), the gruff and powerful heir to tribe leadership. His son is Lil Foster (Ryan Hurst), a massive mountain man.
Young and intuitive Hasil (Kyle Gallner) feels rejected by the group. Lady Ray (Phyllis Somerville), the regal yet tough leader of the Farrell clan.
Asa (Joe Anderson) is a former member of the Farrell clan looking to rejoin the family after a 10-year stint with the outside world. Asa’s trusted confidante is G’Winveer (Gillian Alexy), a healer and a survivor.
Beautiful and young, Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) is from a mining town and she’s fascinated by the Farrells (Hasil, in particular).
Haylie (Francie Swift) is a clever and cunning all-American community relations manager who represents the encroaching coal company.
Sheriff Wade Houghton (Thomas M. Wright) is a cop who has a rough and mysterious history with the Farrells, and grapples with several personal troubles of his own.

What do you think? Do you like the Outsiders TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?

why their #1 show, sounds really stupid to me? love it
I love this show and one of the few I can actually get my husband to watch with me. please someone bring it back for us I know there are a lot of others that really love the show.
BEST SHOW TO COME ALONG IN 30 YEARS. NOW IT GETS CANCELLED. PLEASE SOME OTHER NETWORK BRING IT BACK
Please renew, we love the series…..
Very bad decision ..this show was awesome. There are so many stupid shows out there and the good ones get cancelled. The actors in this show are so talented . ….
I love it. Sorry to see it go.
I most definitely want the show to resume! I know of a lot of people who watched it. Sort of replaced Sons of Anarchy for me.
It is so hard to find a good, quality show to watch that everyone in the family likes. We all looked forward to this unique show every week. Please find a way to bring it back, or find another network that would like a great program to air. I don’t feel it was really given a chance. The fans who love it, at least, deserve a movie to wrap up the many unanswered questions.
Outsiders is awesome I’d rather cancel WGN than this series
Love this show…please find a home for Outsiders!
Great show disapointed it was canceled
They say the producers are looking for another network to pick it up. I surely hope so. very few good shows out there. It should be mandatory that if they start a series they must provide a conclusion not just leave you hanging. WGNA wants to go back to showing over exposed reruns like Cops and Law and Order. USA and TNT did that and now they’re going back to more original scripted shows. The Outsiders, Salem, and Underground were the only reason I tuned back to WGN after abandoning it for the very reasons that they are doing now.
Please don’t cancel Outsiders! It is a very unique show and tells a story that is compelling.
Don’t understand why you taking this show off.It is a really good movie
RENEW THIS SHOW, ME AND MY HUSBAND..,MY DAD.. AND MY MOTHER-IN-LAW LOVE THIS SHOW,PLEASE FIND A WAY TO BRING IT BACK!!!!
