TV show description:
This drama series is set in the rugged hills of Appalachia and follows the Farrell clan. They are a tight-knit family of renegades who have lived atop Shay Mountain for over two hundred years.
The Farrells live off the grid and above the law, enforcing their own set of long-held values and beliefs. They are governed by a simple but powerful tribal authority led by a Bren’in, or ruler, and a small council of elders.
Notoriously secretive and unforgiving when crossed, the Farrells find themselves in conflict with the residents of the nearest town nestled at the foot of Shay Mountain. These locals — and all others outside the tribe — embody greed, malice and all forms of corruption that must be avoided at any cost. Direct contact with the ‘Losties’ (as named by the Farrells) is strictly forbidden.
For the last 20 years, an uneasy truce has generally presided between the ‘Losties’ and the family tribe of Shay Mountain — until Big Coal enters the arena. Never ones to back down from a fight, the Farrells will ultimately defend their way of life using any available means.
Characters include: Big Foster (David Morse), the gruff and powerful heir to tribe leadership. His son is Lil Foster (Ryan Hurst), a massive mountain man.
Young and intuitive Hasil (Kyle Gallner) feels rejected by the group. Lady Ray (Phyllis Somerville), the regal yet tough leader of the Farrell clan.
Asa (Joe Anderson) is a former member of the Farrell clan looking to rejoin the family after a 10-year stint with the outside world. Asa’s trusted confidante is G’Winveer (Gillian Alexy), a healer and a survivor.
Beautiful and young, Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) is from a mining town and she’s fascinated by the Farrells (Hasil, in particular).
Haylie (Francie Swift) is a clever and cunning all-American community relations manager who represents the encroaching coal company.
Sheriff Wade Houghton (Thomas M. Wright) is a cop who has a rough and mysterious history with the Farrells, and grapples with several personal troubles of his own.

What do you think? Do you like the Outsiders TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
This is our FAVORITE SHOW! Are you kidding me, you are cancelling it? Every one of my friends and family watch this show.
No no no please DO NOT cancel “Outsiders”. I love this show please renew it
Please renew this show… this show have a big group of fans from Costa Rica
My favorite show and you’re just dropping it! Never missed an episode. Very disappointed.
Like many other viewers I was saddened to lose this show. It stood out in a world of crappy “reality” shows and other assorted garbage mucking up our televisions. Shame on you WGN, you had a good thing going, I guess shows that adults enjoy isn’t important. Bring on the same vapid hogwash as the other networks. Way to go.
Don’t cancel show. It is a great show.
Don’t cancel I love this show
Please say it ‘s not true, best new show ever, have not missed a episode and now there is no closure. Love the cast, the story line,…… so very disappointed , why is such a great show cancelled, yet trash is renewed.
So agree with everyone else!!! It is different then others.. I am so sick of reality shows!! Hopefully another station will pick it UP!!!!
DON”T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!! Love this show and never missed an episode. PLEASE BRING BACK!!!
Please don’t cancel this show it is one of the few on TV worth watching and I have been impatiently waiting for the next season. At least give it a decent finally don’t do like other shows on AMC that just stops with no ending.
Love this show very disappointed if it is definitely cancelled. Was looking forward to S4
My husband and I really loved this show and wish there was more to come
Enjoyed the series. Hope they st least show a serie finale. Out of the ordinary. Not the same old tired plots!
Me, my family, and my friends have been waiting very impatiently for the outsiders to start again. After not showing on my “list”we finally gave up and, like idiots, found out all of this going on. I’m confused. When you have something good, don’t mess with it. It’s different than the other shows and if you have a problem with it then hire some extra writers to put a few different perspectives into it. Don’t get rid of it. Everything is coming out the same on TV. So when you have something different don’t give up on it!!!! Now, PLEASE,… Read more »
