DESTINATION AMERICA SIGNS GHOST-HUNTING ALL-STARS NICK GROFF AND KATRINA WEIDMAN TO LIVE WITH THE DEAD FOR ALL-NEW SERIES PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN
January 8, 2016
(Silver Spring, Md.) – From the network that delivered the first-ever live televised exorcism last fall, comes an all-new series this March that stretches the limits of paranormal investigation. Destination America’s six-part series PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN, hosted by paranormal all-star Nick Groff and co-hosted by seasoned ghost hunter Katrina Weidman, follows the two as they confine themselves in America’s most terrifying places for an unprecedented 72 hours straight. Living at haunted locations, many of which have never before been seen on television, some being investigated for the first time ever, Groff and Weidman believe that the longer they stay, the more the spirits will communicate with them and the more information they can gather about the unknown. From the creepy Kreischer Mansion on Staten Island to the foreboding Franklin Castle in Cleveland, PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN is set to premiere on Friday, March 4 at 10/9c exclusively on Destination America.
“As valued fixtures of the paranormal community, Nick and Katrina have years of thrilling investigation under their belts and join the Destination America family with huge support from their fans,” said Jane Latman, general manager of Destination America. “Overnight explorations are a staple of ghost hunting, but PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN supersizes the suspense in a round-the-clock, multi-day investigation that has never been conducted before on a paranormal TV series.”
“Living with the dead was a whole new experience for me and Katrina, giving us the opportunity to document some incredibly enticing evidence about the afterlife that we can’t wait to reveal to PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN’s viewers,” said host and executive producer Nick Groff.
For Destination America, Groff previously executive produced GHOST STALKERS in 2014 and appeared in EXORCISM: LIVE! this past Halloween to share his experience investigating the original Exorcist house. PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN will mark Groff’s debut as host of a Destination America original series.

What do you think? Do you like the sound of the new Paranormal Lockdown TV show on Destination America. Do you plan to check it out?
Yes i think it will be a very good show he is a good investigator
he needed to go out on his own
I wouldn’t mind being on the show
I was sorry when Nick left GHOST ADVENTURES so I am glad to see that he will be hosting this new show. I agree with the two stars that longer investigations should yield more and better data. As a member of a paranormal investigation group I look forward to this new set of investigations and sincerely hope that the investigations are treated more seriously and with much less obvious “silly” screaming and nonsense reactions.
Please please please dont make this another rediculous show with “did you hear that, did you feel that or the investigators either challenging or acting like a four year old girl”. It is so phoney and a total waste of everyones time, not to mention childish.
Does anyone know if Nick is still part of ghost adventures?
No Nick isn’t a part of Ghost Adventures anymore . I sure do miss seeing him on there .
Can’t wait until March 4th, this will be a great show for Destination American.
Freakn awesome! I wish I could watch it,because Nick Geoff is really great, but I have Cox cable n never heard of this channel, can anyone clue me in?

Since you have Cox it would be chnl 135 or if you have Cox’s Contour it’s chnl 1135
Really enjoyed watching Nick on Ghost Adventures and I’m sure his new show will continue to draw interest and fascination in the paranormal community!
Hi, I absolutely love Nick (of course) & I’ve been wishing people would stay a couple days instead of leaving after a couple hours, but I have no idea what channel it is, can you please let me know?
They do stay more than a couple of hours, what you see is the finished product of the best parts of the investigations, most shows film for a few days and sometime they only get a small amount of evidence, if you watched a two hours show from start to end you would be very disappointed. I investigate as well on the side and its not all what its cracked up to be, but i do hope that Nicks new show will pull a lot more evidence. cheers to ( Parnormal Lockdown ) good luck Nick : )
I was looking forward to this show until I saw Katrina’s name. Why hire a person from a show that was proven to be a total fraud from start to finish? Also, having her on puts Nick’s reputation in question.
thank you destination america – maybe more most haunted next??
Can’t wait to see this new show, hope everything goes well for nick and crew. Best of LUCK to all!
