Is Neve Campbell returning to Part of Five? Recently, the original series star discussed the Freeform reboot pilot on Watch What Happens Live, TVLine reports.
Campbell played Julia Salinger on the original ’90s drama, which followed a family of five siblings who lost their parents in a car accident The show starred Matthew Fox, Scott Wolf, Neve Campbell, Lacey Chabert, and Scott Grimes. The series ran on FOX from 1994 to 2000.
As reported earlier, Freeform has ordered Party of Five reboot pilot and Neve Campbell says she’s not opposed to guesting if the show goes to series:
I love the idea of the new reboot because it’s very timely,” the actress said. “From what I understand [after speaking to series co-creator] Chris Keyser… they’re doing it with a Mexican family whose parents have been sent across the border, and they have to figure out how to stay together and be a family and raise each other. I think that’s really poignant and important, and I’m really impressed. So if they want me to come… and do a scene in it, I probably would.”

Absolutely loved Party of Five and have absolutely NO INTEREST in a “politically correct” reboot – won’t bother watching
This is a sad, sad example of forced “timeliness” that makes NO sense in the storyline whatsoever. The whole big drama behind the original show was the sudden loss of their parents and the fact that the kids were suddenly forced to grow up quickly with no life guidance beyond that of their oldest brother. But THIS version will supposedly have a group of kids having to live their lives and move forward without their parents who were deported. Seriously?
