Earlier this week, The CW debuted their new dating competition Perfect Score. Compared to the debut ratings for Whose Line Is It Anyway, Perfect Score’s numbers were hardly impressive.
The first episode drew a 0.4 demo rating with 910,000 viewers. The second brought in a 0.3 rating with 720,000 viewerrs.
Soonafter, The CW announced that Perfect Score was being moved to Friday nights, to make way for another new reality series called Capture.
That move seemed like it might be an early nail in the show’s coffin. Well, maybe not. The Friday move might end up being a good thing for the series.
The CW reran the first two episodes on Friday night and, according to the early ratings, they performed better than they did on Tuesday. That’s highly unusual for any show.
The 8pm episode drew a 0.4 rating with 1.22 million and the next installment brought a 0.4 rating and 1.05 million.
ABC’s Shark Tank has prospered on Friday nights and perhaps Perfect Score might end up doing the same thing for The CW.
What do you think? Is Perfect Score better suited for Friday nights? Should The CW keep it around? Do you think it will continue to perform well for The CW on Fridays?
Just another lame dating/relationship show. Hope it tanx quickly.
