Is Pitch sticking around for a second inning? Recently, star Mark-Paul Gosselaar spoke to TVLine about the future of the FOX TV series.
The sports drama follows Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury), the first woman to play for a Major League Baseball team. The cast also includes Ali Larter, Mark Consuelo, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo.
In the interview, Gosselaar said he’s “absolutely” certain there will be a second season of Pitch, despite its low ratings and the fact that FOX has not ordered additional episodes. Currently, the freshman series is averaging .91 in the 18-49 demo and 3.322 million viewers:
Absolutely. I’m not even entertaining the thought that we won’t come back. Mo [McRae] and Kylie [Bunbury] and myself, we’ve all said that we’ll give our bodies about a month break before we go into our preseason routine and begin training again for next season.”
The season one finale of Pitch airs on December 8th.

We loved that show as well. Looked forward to every episode. Got a tad juicy which made a person wonder. Sure would like to see it continue. Keep Pitch coming fox.

I want to see Pitch come back. Kylie Bunbury is an excellent actor. I’ve watched it from the first episode and loved the story line. Please reconsider Fox, and give this program another chance. I know if you start advertising it’s comeback, you will have more viewers tuning in.
I love this show (set my tv on to automatically tune in, so I don’t miss an episode), please don’t cancel it, it is a great inspiration to my granddaughters !
I love this show! I enjoy watching this show it has a great story line and I love the actors and actresses in the show. I started watching right in the middle of the series and got real into it. I really hope that this show gets a second and many more seasons.
This series is awesome I love pitch tbh it’s one of the best shows I ever watched and I watch hulu and nextflx everyday off work I was hoping thier was a secoND pitch because I like some of these other new TV shows like star but star is great to but not as good as pitch …..I hope my comments matter because I love pitch and I’m a big fan of pitch

Please BRING IT BACK! Not only is it entertaining, it has inspiration for all girls. My 10 year old and I both love it and look forward to cuddle on the couch to watch it!!!
Don’t cancel this show! I love it! I especially love the back story about how the G.M., owner, coaches, etc. deal with many issues like player trades, bad publicity for players, how sports reps handle their player clients, etc. I love the catcher (great acting). This could be as good as “This Is Us” if Fox promoted it better.
