Bad news for Pitch fans. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cancelled FOX TV show will not be revived for a second season.
From Dan Fogelman, the baseball drama follows the inspirational story of a young pitcher (Kylie Bunbury) who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball. The cast also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo.
As reported earlier, creator Dan Fogelman was trying to find another home for Pitch after it was cancelled by FOX. Apparently, producers 20th Century Fox were interested in putting the show onto Disney’s upcoming streaming platform Disney+. Sadly, it looks like plans did not work out and Pitch will not be returning after all.

Bring it back.. put it on Netflix and it will succeed. There is a huge baseball softball community.
Why would you not renew such a good show? I was seriously disappointed to find out, after being left hanging, there was not another season. What a motivating show. This would be a good time to bring back this show! Loved all the actors, Ginny deserves a better ending#

There needs to be a season 2, we need to know what happened with all the characters it ended in a mystery. We need season 2.

What a bummer I just finished this series just a few minutes ago and was so pumped to for season 2 only to find out it was canceled. I thought it was a fantastic show with a great cast. It needs to be revived.
Just found the show on Hulu. Watched it in less than a week. Then found out it was cancelled in 2017??.. I was looking forward to a second season so bad. It would have been perfect during this time of no sports. And that is coming from a non baseball fan.
