Queer Eye is ahead of the game. Recently, cast member Bobby Berk told Variety season two of the Netflix TV show is already finished.
A remake of the successful Bravo series, the reality show features five gay experts as they help a straight man makeover his life, focusing on wardrobe, food, lifestyle, interior decoration, and hair. The fab five includes Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Karamo Brown (Culture), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming), and Tan France (Fashion).
Recently, Netflix announced they’ve ordered a second season of Queer Eye. However, cast member Bobby Berk says the new season has already been filmed and is ready to air:
These we actually shot right at the tail of the first season, so they’ve already been shot and they’re ready to go. There’s not anything we’ve learned since then because we did shoot these already.”
And what can fans expect from the new season? Berk says:
One of the things I’m most excited about for the new season is the continuation of diversity, even more so than the last season. Without giving anything away, with our heroes, you’re going to be seeing a lot more different people than you did the first time. A lot of people have been asking,”Why are you just working with straight guys?” Or we did have one gay guy. And I’m like, “Stay tuned for Season 2. You’ll see a lot more diversity.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of Queer Eye? Will you watch season two?
