If you’ve been looking forward to the premiere of Rake on FOX, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer.
The network had initially planned to give the dramedy a big launch behind the NFC Championship Game on January 19th. The execs have now decided that season two of The Following will get that plum spot instead.
The Following will follow the game on the 19th and then follow the Sleepy Hollow season finale the next evening. Moving forward, The Following will air at 9pm on Mondays, behind Almost Human.
Starring Greg Kinnear, Rake will now premiere on Thursday, January 23rd, behind American Idol. The dramedy follows the chaotic life of a criminal defense lawyer. His lack of discretion and inability to self-censor land him the cases that nobody else will touch. There are 13 episodes.
What do you think? Do you plan on watching Rake or The Following?
Love Kevin Bacon and the show is fantastic. We are hooked!
We absolutely are hooked on the Following. We couldn’t wait till the next episode played the folowing week. I talked to others who were as impressed as we were. Can hardly wait till it starts again.
The Following didn’t turn out to be as good as I had hoped, but will probably continue to watch when it returns for season two. Rake on the other hand isn’t very good. I may check out a couple more episodes once it debuts to see where it goes, but there is way to much anti in this anti-hero drama.
I love The Following so YES I will be watching. The Rake sounds goood, so it is yes also.
