Get set for spring on The CW. Today, the network released their spring premiere schedule for both new and returning series.
The schedule includes CW’s new mini-series drama, Containment, as well as the premiere dates for Reign and Beauty and the Beast.
From producers Julie Plec, Matt Corman, and Chris Ord, Containment chronicles the break out of a deadly epidemic in Atlanta. David Gyasi, Christina Moses, and Chris Wood star.
Containment premieres on April 19th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Reign returns for the second half of season three on April 25th, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Earlier, we reported that The CW had cancelled Beauty and the Beast. Its final season premieres on June 2nd, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

February 11, 2016 (Burbank, CA) – The CW announced its midseason schedule today, including the midseason premieres of the limited series CONTAINMENT, the return of REIGN, the summer debut of the final season of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, plus the season finale dates for critical favorites IZOMBIE and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND.
The all-new limited series event CONTAINMENT premieres Tuesday, April 19 (9:00-10:00 pm ET/PT), paired with The CW’s number one series THE FLASH. When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. Based on the original Belgian series “Cordon,” created by Carl Joos for Eyeworks, CONTAINMENT is produced by My So-Called Company in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Julie Plec (“The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals”), Matt Corman (“Covert Affairs”) and Chris Ord (“Covert Affairs”). A week earlier, IZOMBIE will conclude its sophomore season with back to back episodes on Tuesday, April 12, (8:00-9:00 pm ET/PT and 9:00-10:00 pm ET/PT).
REIGN returns with original episodes on a new night, Monday, April 25 (8:00-9:00 pm ET/PT), as CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND wraps its critically acclaimed first season the previous week on Monday April 18 (8:00-9:00 pm ET/PT).
This summer, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST returns for its final season beginning on Thursday, June 2 (9:00-10:00 pm ET/PT).

I WILL BE GLAD WHEN BEAUTY AND THE BEAST RETURNS. ALTHOUGH IT WILL BE THE FINALE SEASON, GLAD TO SEE A DATE OF RETURN. I TRIED WATCHING THE OTHER SHOWS. BUT AFTER THE END OF BATB, I DON’T REALLY INTEND TO GET HOOKED ON ANY OF THE OTHER SHOWS ON CW.. .
