This show doesn’t need reviving. ABC has renewed their new Resurrection TV series for a second season.
On Resurrection, a small town in Missouri is turned upside down when deceased loved ones start to return. The cast includes Omar Epps, Kurtwood Smith, Frances Fisher, Devin Kelley, Matt Craven, Samaire Armstrong, Mark Hildreth, Sam Hazeldine, and Landon Gimenez.
Following a lot of promotion, this drama debuted to a very strong 3.8 rating with 13.9 million viewers. The ratings have fallen quite a bit in the last few weeks but it’s still generating positive numbers for ABC. The network has had a tough time filling their Sunday night schedule and this is one of only two new ABC dramas that have had any success in the ratings.

Yes!! Bring back resurrection!! The best shoe on TV in a long time.l, I almost had stopped watching tv all together due to too much reality tv .. I’m tired of following the real lives of people who otherwise should be ordinary people. However, resurrection is awesome and I actually felt “glued” to the tv and it’s a show I actually look forward too to see what will happen next ! Greatest show to hit TV In a long time

Thank you, thank you, thank you ABC for bringing back “Resurrection”!!! One of the better programs I have seen lately. It seems like stations put something on for a “filler” and just as I get interested in it, they either cancel it or never bring it back for another season! Way to go ABC, you rock!!

I’m do glad it got renewed. I just came on line to see when the show was coming back on! My daughter and I watch together. Then we talk about what happened with our cousins.
I really love this show. No it couldn’t really happen, but it is my favorite of all tv shows. I watch it on hulu and am wondering when I will see the new series? I was only upset there were not more episodes in this series.
Well, I found the show interesting at first but – I found it a bit predictable towards the end of the first season. It seemed to be wandering and stretching it out a bit. But I hope for its fans a second season will explain a lot of what is going on. It’s either the work of some evil entity, or I haven’t ruled out ET’s testing our relationships with the dead and resurrection and justice. I don’t know. But only one more season please.
My daughter and I love this show it’s awesome! I was starting to worry about it getting cancelled so excited to hear it’s not! There isn’t a lot of shows out there that isn’t a kiddy Disney show that my 12 yr old and I can really watch together and this is something a little older but also I think fine for her to watch with me it has given us something to look forward to and we have something to talk about together. Thank you ABC!

This has become one of the best shows out there. I say (one) because I’m also intrigued by the show Salem-(diff story). Anyhow, I have to admit that I went from watching the reality shows to Resurrection. My husband and I saw the first season from the beginning to the finale. The second it ended, I went on the internet to check if it had renewed for second season…. Yes, I know it was way too soon to check, but that’s how badly I wanted to know what comes next. I think the show is great, very suspenceful , my whole family and extended family cant wait for season 2 the reason the rating might have dropped towards the end is it was a holiday and many people were visiting friends and family and probably did not watch tv at that time you cant just leave people hopeing to see what happens next in the show. I think abc needs to renew it if they want to gain viewers in that sunday nite time slot. it’s one of those shows you just cant wait to see what happens much better… Read more »
