Sky is headed back to the south of France. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the UK network has renewed Riviera for a second season.
The drama, which aired its first season on Sundance Now in the U.S., stars Julia Stiles as Georgina, a newly married woman who discovers the criminal secrets behind her husband’s billionaire fortune. The cast also includes Lena Olin, Adrian Lester, Iwan Rheon, Anthony LaPaglia, and Phil Davis.
Sky Atlantic has not yet announced a premiere date for season two of Riviera and it’s currently unclear if SundanceTV will broadcast the new season.

I thought that Riviera was a thrilling and facinating story. I loved it and looked forward to watching the following episode each week. A captivating entertaining series and a great story completely different to the normal stories on TV. I can not wait to see the second series!!!! Fantastic.
Like you I was eager to see a Season 2 of Riviera. In Australia 2 episodes aired last night. I was disappointed and I really wanted to enjoy it. Just a very lame plot, so disjointed, and not in a good way. What are your thoughts?

Yes please, I can’t wait for season 2. I watched 8 episodes of season 1 while on a flight from Philadelphia to Venice, and I did not care that I have not slept at all. This was the most exciting show I have seen in a long while. Please, please, please, I need season 2. And I am speaking for all of my friends in Boston.

Yes!!! I loved the the first series. I didn’t want it to end. I didn’t even know that it existed until a friend told me about … I can’t wait until the second season… Please advertise more so more people will know about it. I know all my friends would watch it….. Also please add a second season….
