What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Rosewood follows charismatic Miami pathologist, Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut). Although optimistic, as well as calm, cool, and collected, this Medical Examiner has two holes in his heart and will probably die within a decade. Joining him in his practice are his sister Pippy (Gabrielle Dennis), the toxicology queen, as well as DNA specialist Tarra Milly ‘TMI’ Izzicoff (Anna Konkle). He is close to his mother Donna (Lorraine Toussaint), who does not shy away from sharing her opinions while helping out. Homicide Team Leader Detective Ira Hornstock (Domenick Lombardozzi) oversees Dr. Rosewood, as he partners with the uncompromising Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), on the city’s toughest criminal cases. New to town, the mysterious Captain Ryan Slade (Eddie Cibrian) challenges the relationship between Rosewood and Villa, which is messy and complicated enough, on its own.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Rosewood averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drawing an average audience of 3.03 million viewers. Telly’s Take
Dr. Rosewood may be charismatic but viewers aren’t exactly flocking to his show now that it’s been moved away from Empire. It was hammered on Thursday nights and has now been moved to Friday nights. Unless its ratings see some significant improvement, I suspect this series is doomed to be cancelled. 5/9 update: FOX has cancelled Rosewood after two seasons. Details here.

This show should not have been cancelled! FOX can keep lower ranking show than this one? I think they should reverse their decision. It was a great show but putting it on Friday is the kiss of death! Bring them back to us.
I love this show I think it needs to stay on the air I think it’s amazing I love it it’s only 2 seasons and needs to be a lot more seasons please renew it
I believe they should keep rosewood on the air. It’s a fresh new kind of show that has its battles along the way, i mean who couldn’t fall in love with that. We have our common detective shows but this has so much more to it. Really hope they change their minds.

Maybe there weren’t enough previews/announcing of the show on tv to let people know about the show.
Seriously??!!!!!! It is good!! On the last episode on Season 2, I was just holding my breath waiting to what was gonna happen with Rosie and Villa. That was a major cliffhanger!!! How dare it be done that way and then be cancelled?!?!
