What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Rosewood follows charismatic Miami pathologist, Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut). Although optimistic, as well as calm, cool, and collected, this Medical Examiner has two holes in his heart and will probably die within a decade. Joining him in his practice are his sister Pippy (Gabrielle Dennis), the toxicology queen, as well as DNA specialist Tarra Milly ‘TMI’ Izzicoff (Anna Konkle). He is close to his mother Donna (Lorraine Toussaint), who does not shy away from sharing her opinions while helping out. Homicide Team Leader Detective Ira Hornstock (Domenick Lombardozzi) oversees Dr. Rosewood, as he partners with the uncompromising Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), on the city’s toughest criminal cases. New to town, the mysterious Captain Ryan Slade (Eddie Cibrian) challenges the relationship between Rosewood and Villa, which is messy and complicated enough, on its own.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Rosewood averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drawing an average audience of 3.03 million viewers. Compared to its first season, Rosewood season two is down by 51% in the demo and down by 37% in terms of average total audience size. Find out how Rosewood stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Dr. Rosewood may be charismatic but viewers aren’t exactly flocking to his show now that it’s been moved away from Empire. It was hammered on Thursday nights and has now been moved to Friday nights. Unless its ratings see some significant improvement, I suspect this series is doomed to be cancelled. 5/9 update: FOX has cancelled Rosewood after two seasons. Details here.

Not surprised, show went way downhill when Annalise’s low life gang banger looking brother came on.
Bring rosewood back it’s my favourite show and you end it like that. Networks are out of line in producing shows and then end it with a good hanger. Networks need to learn if there going to start a show and then if they decide to cancelle it after a few seasons they need to end it with a mini season after it to finish it off for good not leave on a cliff hanger and a stupid ending. I’m with Kathy two comments down. I was very upset to hear Rosewood has been cancelled. I would hate to think we could have a black president but not a hotty like Rosie. (Yes Villa is smokin hot but I’m a hetro white woman.) Is it race? Yes, let’s talk about it! Is that the reason? Shame on us if it is! Bring Rosie and Villa and the rest of the cast back–it’s refreshing and fun and makes one think. Charen

I am still stunned that Fox chose to cancel Rosewood. It is a fantastic show with great writing and great acting. I think it was a bad decision!
Like others, I watched every episode and wait (impatiently) for more. Please, please give it another year and the advertising it deserves. It should be a keeper. In this time of stress and strife, Rosewood delivers wonderfully entertaining characters who have depth and conflict. The show also reveals ways to live an optimistic, positive and ethical life, despite somewhat overwhelming problems, with the support of family and friends.

why is it being canceled. I watched this program every week. One of the few TV series that I really enjoyed. I can only hope Fox TX finds a way to bring this back. And I’d like to know what happens to Villa & Rosie. Bad enough I call tv – idiot boxes because of the lack of good shows/movies/series and then when I finally find something I like it gets canceled. I’m so sad that Rosewood was cancelled. My mom and I would watch this show every week not missing one episode. Fox please bring this show back. We can’t find one show that fills the void of Rosewood. My mom and I want to know what happens. I feel we have a right to know so please renew this show and I know we are not alone with wanted to know what happens!!!!

This show is breath taking and it’s intensity is just amazing. Also, I love it how this show emphasizes the importance of critical thinking. While making it clear that love and dedication. On top of the passion that the team has to solve each take. It’s just a mad rush watching the team crack a case, while using real life characteristics to do so. Canceling this show would be like starting to build a great project and stoping after finish by the first floor. Only because of a downfall. Without reaching out to other resources. I looked forward to watching Rosewood every week, its hard for me to find a TV show to hold my intrest so when Rosewood came on I said good job fox.
