What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Rosewood follows charismatic Miami pathologist, Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut). Although optimistic, as well as calm, cool, and collected, this Medical Examiner has two holes in his heart and will probably die within a decade. Joining him in his practice are his sister Pippy (Gabrielle Dennis), the toxicology queen, as well as DNA specialist Tarra Milly ‘TMI’ Izzicoff (Anna Konkle). He is close to his mother Donna (Lorraine Toussaint), who does not shy away from sharing her opinions while helping out. Homicide Team Leader Detective Ira Hornstock (Domenick Lombardozzi) oversees Dr. Rosewood, as he partners with the uncompromising Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), on the city’s toughest criminal cases. New to town, the mysterious Captain Ryan Slade (Eddie Cibrian) challenges the relationship between Rosewood and Villa, which is messy and complicated enough, on its own.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Rosewood averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drawing an average audience of 3.03 million viewers. Compared to its first season, Rosewood season two is down by 51% in the demo and down by 37% in terms of average total audience size. Find out how Rosewood stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Dr. Rosewood may be charismatic but viewers aren’t exactly flocking to his show now that it’s been moved away from Empire. It was hammered on Thursday nights and has now been moved to Friday nights. Unless its ratings see some significant improvement, I suspect this series is doomed to be cancelled. 5/9 update: FOX has cancelled Rosewood after two seasons. Details here.

This a great show largely because of the charisma, however the potential for the romance between Rosie and Villa is not reaching it’s full potential. Seeley booth and Bones managed to get into a relationship, marry and have a child. For once can’t blooming relationship such as this get going? You might benefit from this because viewers are tired of seeing potential romances fall apart because of whatever, as well as seeing those same romances never grow at all. I like everyone on the show except his mother. What is it with TV series lately? Annoying interfering mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters in trouble, all as regular cast members. Skip the familial dramatics and stick with the premise of the show
Please renew Rosewood for Season 3. I just found Rosewood yesterday and have been binge watching. Great mystery show and love Miami. Makes me miss CSI Miami! Please renew Rosewood. PS no show does well after being moved from original slot and especially to Friday night. Move Rosewood back to original slot.

It is one of the shows that I PVR every week. Not in my top 5 but I continue to watch. Like the Dr R character.
