There will be lots more drama at a certain Baptist church in a small-ish Georgia town. Bounce TV has renewed the Saints & Sinners TV show for a fifth season. In addition, the cable channel has ordered a standalone movie.
Set against the backdrop of a large southern church, Saints & Sinners centers around the pursuit of power, intertwined with greed, deception, corruption, compromising sexual affairs, and murder. The dramatic series stars Vanessa Bell Calloway, Clifton Powell, Tray Chaney, Keith Robinson, J.D. Williams, Donna Biscoe, Jasmine Burke, Dawn Halfkenny, and Karon Joseph Riley.
Bounce announced the fifth season renewal earlier today and noted that it would debut sometime in Spring 2021. All previous seasons have had eight episodes apiece and season four finished airing in August 2019. In season five, viewers will find Mayor Ella Johnson (Calloway) bracing for the ride of her life when a father comes to town seeking revenge for his son’s murder. A long-kept secret will be revealed that threatens to take down the entire town.
Before season five begins, the cable channel plans to air a standalone movie. That will be released in the first quarter of 2021. No further details have been announced thus far.

Yes,just as they’ve all had been commenting around; saints and sinners is the Mainland.I broke night on top of my head-end of my bed just to view this?! It’s a dyer, a given for a fifth through and more to take on, what this show may have in store!!? Gather the cast, affiliates and all whom is involved. I’ll be awaiting notification alerts , emails, a special chime and all that. What an ground floor-walker gift to unwrap! Like they say Christmas for the children and New year’s where you open gifts for the adults
This series had really good acting and lots of twist and turns. The drama kept you excited and on the edge. The writers knew how to get you there. Looking forward to the return. Thanks you for quality.

I love the show, but it takes way too long for the new seasons to return. I hope in the future, if the show continues, it will not take a year to bring season 6 back.
Vanessa A.K.A Lady Ella. Your character is ruthless yet respectable. I haven’t watched a show in years that kept me sitting on the edge of my seat for every hour, every episode. Looking forward to season 5 and the planned movie. I want the dvd’s for every season of this show! There are shows I’d love to have on DVD that are not making it there.
