Scorpion just wrapped its fourth season, but will there be another? Should CBS renew the TV show for a fifth season for not? Do you want more adventures of this geeky crew?
The action drama follows a team of misfits who also happen to be the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats. The cast includes Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter.
It’s unclear if CBS will renew Scorpion for a fifth season. On the one hand, ratings have been pretty low for the series. Season four averaged a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.262 million viewers. That’s a nearly 30% drop in both ratings and viewership when compared to last season’s numbers.
On the other hand, CBS Television Studios is a producer on Scorpion, meaning the network has additional financial interest in picking up the show for another season. The show already has 93 episodes in the can and these days, that’s already enough for syndication.

I love this awkward team and want them to get back together. Maybe move somewhere besides the garage. And maybe add Sylvesters’ pen pal to the team. Now that Happy and Toby want to foster or adopt we can enjoy seeing how they juggle parenthood. And what happened To Gabes girlfriend. So many possibilities. Just avoid the McGuyver-like solutions to each assignment. We learn a lot but honestly. Sometimes it feels like McG. Keep it realistic.

Scorpion is a great series. It is very different to most, which makes it more interesting and addictive to see what happens next. Please keep the series.
Please keep this show. May be goofy in places but that makes it fun to watch since there are so many other shows that are full of nothing but violence.
